Job Description
Responsibilities
The VP, Fair Employment Practices & Policies will be responsible for strategic management and global execution of fair and respectful workplace programs and initiatives. This VP will lead a team of experienced trainers and investigators, and will provide advice and counsel to key stakeholders across the Company. This individual will:
• Manage NBCUniversal's fair employment programs, policies, and initiatives - including developing employee policies and trainings on a respectful workplace, as well as other topics such as effective investigation techniques.
• Conduct investigations and supervise a team of employees responsible for handling investigations into workplace concerns
• Provide advice and counsel to promote fair employment practices.
• Partner with client-facing Employment Law attorneys to assist in conducting, coordinating, and handling internal investigations of employment-related and other types of complaints.
- Develop and execute best-in-class systems and processes to address fair employment concerns, including those raised through the Company's integrity helpline.
• Oversee development and implementation of, and participate in the delivery of, innovative respectful workplace and other employment-related training programs for in-person and online audiences across the Company.
• Partner with senior HR leaders, Talent Management, Compliance, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, and other subject matter experts at NBCUniversal and Comcast on trainings and employment-related initiatives.
• Develop insightful reporting metrics and create and deliver reports to senior leadership used to identify key trends and create proactive strategy to foster a respectful working environment.
• Support SVP, Fair Employment Practices on special projects as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications
• Minimum of 15 years of employment law and/or compliance experience, including experience developing and implementing training programs and conducting investigations in a corporate environment.
• Member in good standing of the State Bar of New York or member in good standing of another State Bar and registered as in-house counsel.
• Law degree.

Eligibility Requirements
• Must be willing to work in New York, NY.
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
• Must submit an attestation disclosing your COVID-19 vaccination status and, if partially or fully vaccinated, submitting your vaccination record no later than 7 days following commencement of employment.
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 at the commencement of employment or must undergo regular COVID-19 testing if Company determines your job position requires accessing an NBCUniversal worksite.
• Must be willing to adhere to all Company COVID-19 workplace safety policies and protocols.
