Responsibilities
Role

VP, Creative Advertising will focus on building a campaign which includes conceiving, producing and delivering short and long form pieces of creative advertising for several different departments within Focus Features. The position will be responsible for strategizing conceptual work, and for managing multiple delivery deadlines at the same time and working closely with outside creative ad agency to ensure materials are delivered and deadlines are met. The role will report to the Executive Vice President, Creative Advertising, and will be instrumental in conceiving projects and managing all phases of production through delivery.

Responsibilities:
• Incorporate notes from senior executives and outside sources while staying on schedule and on budget.
• Have vision and stay true to that vision while always being open to change.
• Conceive and produce marketing materials that include but are not limited to: Trailers, TV spots, Outdoor Advertising, Radio spots and Newspaper ads.
• Academy Awards campaign knowledge and experience.
• Coordinate with assigned creative agencies for cutting and finishing elements
• Submit materials to the Business Affairs department for legal clearance
• Submit materials to the MPAA and to network clearance
• Track narration talent booking and payment
• Create and distribute finishing schedules
• Expedite dubbing and ftp posting requests
• Includes interfacing with department executives and filmmakers

Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum of 10 years working specifically in theatrical motion pictures for a major motion picture studio or advertising agency in a role that is responsible for strategically driving the development of creative advertising campaigns.

Eligibility Requirements:
• Interested candidates must submit a resume/CV online to be considered
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU's Alternative Dispute Resolution Program

Desired Characteristics
• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
• A portfolio of recognized creative advertising campaigns for theatrical motion pictures.
• Strong, established relationships with motion picture agencies.
• Exceptional and adaptive writing and communication skills.
• Vast knowledge of music, pop culture, art and film.
• Working knowledge of the post-production process for film and video finishing.
• Working knowledge of the MPAA and network clearance issues for all AV marketing material.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with other members of the team
• Willingness to participate in team projects and be a supportive part of a team
• Highly detail-oriented and thorough
• Excellent communication skills
• High degree of professionalism as the position will be creating materials for senior executives and filmmakers
