Responsibilities
NBCU is a media industry leader helping clients achieve marketing and sales goals with innovative solutions that engage targeted audiences at scale. NBCU's Commerce Partnerships team has built an innovative platform enabling brand partners of all sizes to drive commerce and collapse the purchase funnel through premium programming / audiences and high impact shoppable advertising. Branded in the marketplace as NBCUniversal Checkout and ShoppableTV.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Set and Communicate the vision & strategy for Commerce Partnerships at NBCU.
• Create a unified coalition of internal sales stakeholders and resources to ensure an effective and successful implementation of that vision.
• Establish a Commerce Partnerships sales roadmap, relevant financials, KPIs/Benchmarks & critical success factors.
• Manage Commerce Partnerships budgets, sales team, marketplace reputation, competitive positioning, and all related resources to deliver against established Financial Goals, KPIs, Benchmarks and execution deadlines.
• Develop relevant org, identify initial senior level hire needs and structure onboarding cadence to align with true need and financials.
• Collaborate with HR, senior management, and senior level hires to establish desired team culture based on business mission.
• Identify need for, and establish, any necessary third-party partnerships.
• Inspire & motivate broader sales team to exceed Commerce Partnerships sales goals.
• Stay ahead of media, fashion, and tech industry trends to ensure Commerce Partnerships consistently evolves to serve the needs of its users and clients better than any other marketplace solution.
• Represent and grow a positive position for NBCUniversal Commerce Partnership in the eCommerce marketplace.
• Develop and grow relationships within Ad Sales and with appropriate NBCU Tech teams to incorporate technology and or deliver against Business Priorities (e.g., Content Studio, Audience Studio, Apple News) via Content Commerce.

Qualifications/Requirements
• Proven sales leader with the ability to lead change.
• 15+ years of business development and sales experience in eCommerce and digital media or related industry mix.
• Demonstrated ability to structure & implement sales monetization/optimization strategies and to negotiate complex, high-profile agreements.
• Demonstrated track record of identifying and executing successful partnerships and large-scale marketing deals, particularly in the ecommerce, traditional retail, and digital media industries.
• BA/BS degree required.

• Must be able to communicate with clarity and authority the vision and mission of Commerce Partnerships to all key stakeholders both internal and external irrespective of level or function.
• Must be able to recognize and capitalize on consumer trends, competitor actions, technological innovations, and other exogenous factors.
• Experience managing partnerships across multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills and presentation skills.
• Ability to both react to current business as well as ability to anticipate future business trends.
• MBA preferred.
