Job Description
Responsibilities
The Vice President, Production Management oversees all processes regarding cost control, timeline, productivity, and compliance for all in-house and third-party multi-platform entertainment projects including daily shows, realities, live specials and new developments for TV & Streaming.

Responsibilities
• Foster, lead and maintain a collaborative relationship with executives in charge of production and production finance; working together to achieve optimal production output
• Conduct thorough production budget analysis and review of schedules coming from third party production companies
• Build multi-platform production budgets, schedules and milestones from bottoms up for in-house productions
• Work with production teams to align budgets with creative requirements, delivery targets, and production milestones
• Vet budgets for competitive pricing and opportunities for standardization of rates
• Supervise production budget pacing and forecasting for all department projects
• Act as a liaison between the productions, technical, studio operations, and engineering
• Lead cross-departmental and divisional communication and congruency of processes to ensure unification of vision and plan implementation for all productions
• Ensure all aspects of compliance are being met including diligence process, trainings for Legal | HR | Vendor Management matters, and COVID-19 protocols in concert with EHS.
• Ensure that productions are in line with company's standards and procedures
• Identify areas of operational efficiencies that can lead to production nimbleness and reduced costs
• Leverage new technologies in collaboration with O&T group
• Responsible for supervising, evaluating, and monitoring the work quality, and performance of all department productions in terms of cost efficiency, compliance and productivity
• Lead, coach, and provide guidance to production managers while driving a culture of creativity, discipline and excellence
• Work under the direct supervision of SVP Business Operations & Strategy keeping the individual well informed of area activities and elevating significant problems in time for course correction
• Provide additional areas of support where needed

Qualifications/Requirements
• Minimum 10 years of experience in production and operations management for a broadcast and/or cable network OR equivalent experience within a production company
• Prior experience with financial budgeting, forecasting and management of budgets
• Strong ability to work in collaboration with creative people including writers, producers and talent
• Strong ability to execute on production plans
• Hands-on production expertise for entertainment content
• Exhibits extensive knowledge of production operations and planning
• Must be able to perform job at locations in and outside work environment with varying weather conditions
• Exhibits working knowledge of health and safety requirements
Eligibility Requirements:
• Willingness to travel with short notice and on weekends
• Willingness to work flexible hours including late and/or last-minute scheduling changes in a 24/7 production work environment
• Must be willing to work in the greater Miami, Florida area
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU's Alternative Dispute Resolution Program

Desired Characteristics
• Exhibits knowledge of current TV and Streaming entertainment industry trends for the Latin/Hispanic Market in the US
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
• Demonstrated self-starter with a highly developed network of contacts within TV industry highly preferred
• Ability to effectively present to internal and external stakeholders
• Entrepreneurial leader; ability to innovate, influence and execute within a rapidly changing entertainment landscape
• Accustomed to working in a team and collaborating with all levels within the organization
• Demonstrated expertise in current budgeting and financial software
• Proficient in Movie Magic and MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Excellent communication, leadership, interpersonal and organizational skills
