Responsibilities

Job Purpose

The VP, Finance, Global Advertising & Partnerships, is an integral part of the Global leadership team who develops and manages all aspects of the division' finances including performance analysis, business support, reporting, financial policy and controls, as well as the setting, monitoring and implementation of commercial terms and practices including investments and commercial deal appraisals. This highly collaborative role is a strategic partner to the business providing consultative advice and direction to the business.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Partners with MD & EVP Global Advertising and Partnerships and the leadership team on shaping deals, providing best practice guidance, tools and methodologies, as well as challenge and review
• Providing full ownership of global finance data related to performance and client intelligence and the formalization of that data into systems
• Establishes and operates appropriate financial policies, controls and processes
• Builds excellent working relationships and gains acceptance as a highly collaborative, strategic, creative and results oriented professional across the Global Ad Sales & Partnerships team
• Develops and communicates clear, accurate and insightful management information on the performance of the business
• Provides recommendations on the allocation of capital and resources, and control of costs to maximise value
• Creates and manages KPI reporting process, monitoring the performance of the business against them and providing recommendations to maximise revenue generation
• Partners with the business and strategy teams in establishing the division's growth plans
• Supports the implementation of new systems and new ways of working, as relevant. Continuously improves management information, financial processes and decision making practices
• Recruits, leads, motivates, develops and manages the performance of direct reports, building a high calibre team with the skills and capabilities needed to deliver the required results
• Identifies areas of opportunity as well as potential issues and is on the front foot in devising solutions to enhance opportunities and address issues.
• Acts as a company values and brand ambassador within the business

Qualifications

Qualifications/Skills
• Qualified accountant with significant PQE
• Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Experience in working in a global, matrix organization
• Strong influencing skills and preferred experience working across many areas and levels of an organisation.
• Analytical / strategic thinker, creative problem solver, resourceful, able to initiate change and motivate innovation and creativity.
• Strong leader and persuasive communicator with a vision; proven ability to self-motivate, work independently as well as collaboratively and motivate and inspire a team; excellent written and verbal presentation skills.
• Proven ability to build financial models and business plans
• Significant international experience, working in matrix organisations with geographically dispersed offices.

• Willingness to travel internationally on an ad hoc basis
