Job Description

Responsibilities
The Director of Talent and Casting will report to the SVP, Head of Unscripted Talent and Casting for NBCU's Entertainment Content Group and will manage talent aspects of NBC, Peacock, E!, Bravo, Oxygen, Syfy, USA, Universal Kids & Syndication Studios. Their understanding of the brands will allow them to strategically identify talent for the NBCU Entertainment Content Group.

Essential Responsibilities
• Manage unscripted talent efforts for the NBCU Entertainment Content group
• Identify & meet with various talent for potential opportunities for all divisions within group
• Create talent lists as needed
• Target breakthrough talent and stay current on trends, as well as foster relationships with emerging talent
• Create, execute & manage talent presentations for company
• Work with divisions across Comcast NBCUniversal to create cross-portfolio opportunities for priority unscripted talent
• Maintain talent relations across designated projects
• Strategically work with international group to align on talent needs
• Ideate and assist beginning of development for talent-based unscripted programming
• Maintain extensive relationships with the talent and representatives
• Collaborate with network producers and determine their needs
• Act as a liaison between the talent & internal departments
• Act as a liaison between on-air talent, their representatives & NBCU
• Attend various events to scout potential talent & partnerships
• Manage tracking & stay up to date on the status of talent for projects across the unscripted space

Qualifications/Requirements
• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum 6 years in entertainment
• Proficiency in Keynote and MS Office Suite
• Previous talent experience at a network, studio, production company or talent booking company
• Willing and able to attend casting and talent related events after hours and/or on weekends
• Some travel required

• Knowledgeable about talent in front of, and behind, the camera and especially when it comes to talent in the TV, Film, Music, Comedy, and Sports space

• Ability to work with and manage expectations of individuals with widely varying personalities
