Responsibilities

The Position
The Senior Vice President of International Marketing is responsible for coordinating and managing the ongoing Strategic Marketing efforts for all picture-specific campaigns outside of the US and Canada.

Essential Responsibilities
• Collaborate with the President, International Marketing, the Global Marketing team, and Regional and Territorial groups to compose International Theatrical Guidelines & Marketing Plans.
• Partner with the President of International Marketing, Distribution leadership, marketing department heads, and regional and territory-level marketing executives to develop the international strategy and priority setting on a market-by-market basis.
• Work with key regional team leads to coordinate marketing campaign brainstorms-soliciting ''big ideas'' from key international territories.
• Responsible for defining and responding to international research, insight and data analytics related outputs in collaboration with our Global Research team
• Partner closely with Creative Advertising to ensure all creative materials are aligned with overall strategy and specific market requirements.
• In partnership with existing marketing teams, encourage relevant marketing activity with other divisions.
• Establish regular meeting schedule between International Theatrical Marketing Departments (and Distribution as relevant) and key external stakeholders to instigate ongoing, consistent dialogue between the teams.
• Works with President of International Marketing & Creative Advertising team on the strategic development, execution and implementation of international marketing campaigns.
• Develop tactical marketing plans, including detailed campaign roll-out timelines for key tentpole franchise films.
• Collaborate on theatrical strategy and planning with the international territories by soliciting, reviewing, and providing feedback on marketing plans from the international markets on a film-by-film basis, with input from the various international department heads and International President.
• Develop presentation materials for senior management team, acting as the lead for the international teams on global presentations, including international campaign summaries for external stakeholders.
• Develop communication tools and documents to convey updates on a regular basis to both keep internal teams on track and external stakeholders apprised of all activities.
• Support any and all relevant event planning (i.e. International Comic-Con) and execution including coordination across marketing departments, territory offices and divisions.
• Support President, International Marketing in development, implementation and follow-up on any additional assignments and needs.

Qualifications/Requirements
Required Qualifications:
• Minimum of 10 years' experience in international entertainment marketing, creative advertising, digital marketing, or research.
• Previous experience dealing with multiple International offices required.

Desired Characteristics

Desired Qualifications and Characteristics:
• Feature film marketing experience is not required but highly preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of media and entertainment market dynamics and trends throughout all major territories outside of the United States.
• Previous experience managing large franchise properties preferred.
• Exceptional creative, analytic, and strategic thinking skills with a clear track record of generating compelling marketing ideas and strategies, leading successful brainstorming sessions, and managing a creative process.
• Collaborative and consultative leader with the clear ability to problem-solve and collaborate with senior executives, creative partners, and peers across a highly matrixed, fast-paced, innovative, and highly energetic corporate culture.
• Proven ability to work under deadline pressures with minimal supervision and a willingness to roll up one's sleeves to drive tasks to completion.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills with a proven ability to effectively present to senior executives, colleagues, vendors, clients, talent and other levels of personnel, sharing insights and making recommendations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience with PowerPoint and other design software (Adobe Photoshop, Acrobat, etc.) is highly preferred.
• BA/BS degree with an emphasis in Business/Marketing is strongly preferred.
