Job Purpose:
NBCUniversal Entertainment Syndication Studios is seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated, full-time team player to help lead the digital editorial team for ''The Kelly Clarkson Show.''

The Supervising Producer, Digital will report to the Executive Editor, Digital of The Kelly Clarkson Show and will be responsible for overseeing a team of digital video editors/producers and social content creators on the Kelly Clarkson Digital team. The Supervising Producer Digital will be responsible for bringing the Kelly Clarkson Show brand to life on digital alongside the executive staff: ideating and pitching digital video series and shoots with talent, guests and brands, producing shoots, overseeing the digital video editing team to create premium content and maintaining editorial calendars alongside show production and tentpole events.

The Supervising Producer, Digital will work closely with the Executive Editor, Digital and Executive Producers of the show to craft a digital voice and videos that amplify the tone of the show.

The role will require a smart brand leader who understands how to create compelling digital content from start to finish and understands how to provide smart edits to video editors in order to get the best results.

The ideal candidate should have a keen understanding of The Kelly Clarkson Show audience, be able to contextualize trends using content metrics and analytics tools, be organized, be familiar with creating shot lists and beat sheets, and use data-driven analysis and social conversations to determine priorities. The ideal candidate should be a digital pro – who truly knows how to create content that resonates for multiple audiences across multiple platforms and can quickly identify must-cover moments.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Execute a digital editorial strategy laid out by the Executive Editor, Digital, which will align with the brand's overall vision to grow and develop an engaged audience for The Kelly Clarkson show, drive video views (on and off-platform), increase social media engagement, and site traffic
• Work with the Executive Editor, Digital to pitch and develop new digital content franchises and execute those franchises with the digital video team
• Build beat sheets, outlines, shot lists and lead digital production and shoots – work with editors to create premium content
• Oversee digital editorial calendar and create tentpole moments
• Work with editors to ensure content is being published at the correct times
• Create and maintain an editorial and digital production schedule
• Pitch and create digital series and branded concepts for sales teams
• Work with the Executive Editor, Digital to identify and develop additional growth strategies based on insights on emerging platforms including: YouTube, Hulu, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. Must be able to then spearhead and execute these strategies.
• Work with Executive Editor, Digital to identify new ways to create content that will make The Kelly Clarkson Show brand competitive within the daytime talk space
• Identify daily clips to be cut for a multi-platform content rollout across digital and social
• Copyedit digital video scripts and editorial copy for grammar, tone, punctuation, structure and style
• Lead coverage on long-lead editorial stories, develop content plans for larger events
• Be able to quickly write, edit and produce stories where needed
• Closely work with The Kelly Clarkson Show producers and key stakeholder to ensure best effort
• Consistently monitor social media sites & digital news outlets
• Maintain the editorial schedule for digital shoots, red carpets and interviews
• Responsible for any daily editorial for The Kelly Clarkson show special projects, potentially including sweepstakes, affiliate station requests, social media requests, symphony requests etc.

Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree
Minimum 5 years of experience working in or leading digital video content creation, or working in a talk show environment, daily production or entertainment or lifestyle news
• Extremely proficient producer and digital video creator with a strong background in digital video editing and storytelling for a premium brand
• Extremely proficient in social media, SEO and digital platforms and how they influence news production
• Extremely proficient in analytics and be able to change digital strategy based on data
• Skilled digital producer with an eye for breakout moments and how to craft a digital video story

Eligibility Requirements:
• Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings due to news cycles and breaking news
• Must be willing to work in Universal City, California
• Must have work authorization to work in the United States
• Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU's Alternative Dispute Resolution Program

• The ability to source news on a variety of social media platforms and track trends
