Responsibilities

This role lives on our Content Discovery team and will be focused on core areas of the user experience including Continue Watching, My Stuff, the collection of user signals to deliver a more customized experience, like Onboarding, and Profiles. Consumers today want streaming experiences that reflect their tastes with accurate recommendations that also make it easy to find the content they want to watch when they want to watch it.

We are looking for someone to define a vision for how Peacock can create an always on feedback loop through in-app customization that increases our understanding of subscribers and what they want to watch next. This is an opportunity to be part of a fast-paced and ambitious initiative to shape the future of customization and user signals at Peacock that will ultimately drive content engagement and discovery.

In This Role, You Will
• Contribute to the vision, strategy, and roadmap for customization across TV, mobile, and web applications (including CW, My Stuff, Onboarding & Profiles)
• Identify and validate opportunities to better understand subscriber content preferences to deliver a more relevant and personalized experience, including more accurate recommendations.
• Work closely with content, editorial, engineering, and design teams to create ongoing feedback loops that help deliver the right content at the right time for our subscribers
• Prioritize a backlog to assure that highest value development work is delivered
• Set KPIs to measure the success of new customization features, and develop learnings for further advancement
• Collaborate with a cross-functional product team to identify opportunities for meaningful tests and define and carry out a/b testing to validate features
• Create and deliver presentations that explain new features, experiments, and roadmaps
• Help build a product culture at Peacock

What You Have
• Passion to learn our users, their needs, and behaviors.
• Comfortable working in uncertainty, while shaping clarity for the team
• Ability to clearly identify the tradeoffs of product KPIs and decisions
• Distinguished verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Able to manage several ongoing projects and carry them to completion
• An appreciation for TV/entertainment
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate a wide range of detailed information, clearly identifying the pertinent points to determine coherent approaches to problems
• Flexibility to quickly adapt to rapidly changing priorities and deadlines
• Enthusiasm to be positive, confident, energetic and display a willingness to lead

Qualifications
• 4-5 years working as a Sr. PM in an agile environment
• Experience with explicit user signals in the form of product onboarding or other user feedback mechanisms
• Experience with feature A/B testing, metrics analysis and rapid experimentation
• Experience in technology or digital media preferably with consumer-facing products
• Software literacy and comfort with various product tools such as Jira, excel and Adobe Analytics
