Responsibilities
Oxygen network is the premier 24/7 true crime destination that relies on provocative marketing to enlighten and entertain. Through compelling storytelling and truth-seeking investigations, its brand is the gold standard within the genre. This role is for candidates with an innate ability to reveal the layers of a story in unique and captivating fashion. The ability to evoke fully engaging narratives that range between ten seconds and five minutes is a must, and those with creative prowess and an industrious nature will thrive.

Responsibilities:
• Managing multiple projects with different deliverables and delivery dates simultaneously. Working closely with Project Management to ensure delivery dates are met.
• Collaborating smoothly with producers and effectively taking direction/notes in order to achieve a desired creative result.
• Ability to create premium award-winning quality edits with or without the guidance of a producer.
• Mastery of broadcast, digital and social delivery workflows. Plus, expert level content creation for social platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat and Twitter.
• Expertise in QC (quality control) to ensure only flawless content is released to the public.
• Participation in professional development programs in order to learn industry best practices, adapt to workflow changes, improve communication, and lead a team. Also, expected to participate in the training of others and develop junior staff members.
• Effectively interpreting extensive notes and disseminating to team members working together on a project.
• Attending meetings, retaining information, and applying insights to the creative.
• Accepting of new technology and seeking out cutting edge technology that may create efficiencies for the department.
• Trouble shooting technical errors and finding solutions to problems.
• Asset management, archiving, and unarchiving.
• Directing voiceover artists and providing guidance on tone, pace, and delivery.
• Communicating with graphic designers and animators to provide direction on desired look and feel of the creative.
• Working in a fast-paced environment with quick turnaround times and fast approaching deadlines.

Qualifications/Requirements
• A minimum of eight years of practical work at a production company or network level TV production or related experience.
• Expert in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and proficient in all Adobe software.
• Proficient on (Slack, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc...) and solid communication skills.

Desired Characteristics
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays if/when necessary.
• Flexibility to alter shifts/days off to accommodate projects and departmental objectives.
