Responsibilities

Summary:

The Sr. Manager, Brand Operations will manage the deliverables for the creative team, including brand creative and marketing campaign assets. They will partner with the various teams in our global theme parks on required deliverables for all projects. The role is the lead connector, facilitator, communicator and cross function liaison across the business with key partners in creative, project management, marketing, legal and asset management. The team member will also serve as the lead manager of several creative agencies. A master of the Operations craft, this role will report to the Director of Brand Operations.

Responsibilities include:
• Leads marketing creative process, production and execution of the global Universal Parks brand and campaigns to ensure efficient workflow, driving key milestones within the project life cycle
• Partners with Brand Creative, Brand Assurance and Universal Destinations & Experiences internal creative agency to project business needs up to two years in advance of delivery
• Maintains an accurate definition of scope and timing for creative deliverables based on business priorities
• Works in partnership with the Brand Creative lead to ensure seamless management of projects and requests
• Develops and manages robust project plans and timelines for all assigned projects; proactively and continuously manages updates to project trackers
• Implements, champions and drives tools and processes that unlock the business and increase partnership and collaboration between teams
• Influences and leads cross-collaboration with other operations team members as well as other team leadership within the organization
• Manages approvals waterfall for all projects, including executive-level approval moments
• Develops and manages agendas and presentations for cross-functional and executive-level meetings
• Liaison for legal, trademark and 3rd party partner approvals for Brand-led creative projects
• Works closely with global digital asset management teams and Brand Assurance for seamless and timely posting of all Universal Parks creative deliverables
• Partners with finance and operations team lead to manage the Parks Brand Creative budget, including quarterly forecasting and pacing. Ladders up to global Parks Creative budget
• Leads best-in-class culture that supports innovation, proactive problem-solving and a positive culture of feedback
• Contributes to the advancement and actualization of Universal's diversity, equity, and inclusion commitments

Qualifications

Qualifications/Requirements:
• 7+ years of related work experience, ideally in Creative Operations or Agency Operations. Campaign experience is desired.
• Works independently and is self-directed with exceptional ability to execute on tasks and understand their contribution to the bigger picture ensuring exceptional operational excellence
• Strategic, critical thinker and creative problem solver
• Effective communication, including speaking, writing and active listening as well as a professional presentation
• Experience with campaign and creative deliverables preferred, understanding of creative development and video production cycles desired
• Strong MAC skills and highly proficient in Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Keynote, Acrobat. Photoshop, Illustrator knowledge desired
• Knowledge of Project Management software (Asana and Adobe Workfront)
• Highest-level project management skills, including attention to detail, time management, prioritization, and multitasking abilities
• Must be self-motivated & enjoy working in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
• Team player who's curious, likes to brainstorm ideas & enjoys life!

Salary range: $95,000 - $130,000 (bonus eligible)
