DIVISION PROFILE
NBCUniversal Global Distribution is responsible for the sales and distribution of NBC Universal product to all forms of television and new media platforms in over 200 territories across the globe, its revenue portfolio exceeding $5Bn per year. This includes a rich library of more than 4,200 feature films and 110,000 television episodes, including current and classic titles, non-scripted programming, sports, news, long-form and short-form programming, and locally produced content from around the world. NBCUniversal Global Distribution is a division of Comcast NBCUniversal.
OVERVIEW
The TV Distribution Accounting Sr. Manager will be responsible for assisting Global Television Distribution with the quarterly close process, US GAAP revenue recognition, and financial audit and SOX compliance. The role will report into the Director of TV Distribution and will work closely with TV Distribution FP&A departments in LA and NY, Technical Accounting and Internal Audit department.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist with quarterly cost reporting across TVD's global offices including preparation of journal entries and supporting documentation and posting to SAP (General ledger)
• Prepare quarterly balance sheet review package for management
• Responsible for overseeing the day to day operations for Accounts Payables system including SAP and hierarchy maintenance for cost center accounting.
• Responsible for assisting TVD departments with AP questions, credit card questions and coding requests
• Assist in coordination and execution of quarterly/annual SOX and Financial Statement audits with internal and external auditors
• Prepare general ledger account reconciliations in accordance with company policy
• Review, analyze and document TV Distribution licensing agreements to ensure proper revenue recognition and key contract provisions.
• Perform ad hoc reporting and special projects as requested
• Develop and maintain productive working relationships with the FP&A teams and International TVD team located in The Netherlands.
• Identify areas of operational improvement

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting & CPA License preferred
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant accounting/finance experience
