Job Description

Responsibilities
Credit & Collections
• Lead a team of financial professionals by consistently exhibiting strong financial, technical, management, and interpersonal skills
• Manage the relationship with shared service (offshore) collections team
• Oversee collections, cash application, and write offs for customer accounts, including referral to 3rd party collections agency as needed
• Oversee weekly aging review process and measure week over week accomplishments while driving the team to achieve timely actioning of cash collections and cash applications
• Oversee Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) transition from one service provider to the newly selected service provider, in conjunction with NBCU Corporate including:
• Manage the messaging to all stakeholders through the change management process
• Manage the ongoing relationship with outsourced team
• Drive the delivery of accurate SOPs, review change requests as procedures evolve, and ensure team accountability to uphold these standards
• Develop and implement best practice processes with outsourced team (periodic review, adherence to close calendar requirements, etc.)
• Identify internal department efficiencies and implement process improvement
• Manage relationship with NBCU Corporate Tax to ensure compliance with withholding and statutory requirements
Operational Excellence & Customer Service
• Lead Credit & Collections processes through strong collaboration with internal and external clients
• Thoroughly understand invoicing, statement processes, and payment trends for UBD client base
• Work with AR team to understand current limitations and provide requirements for change while encouraging collaboration with internal teams (IT, etc.)
Financial Analysis & Reporting
• Review forecast A/R cash flow for budget, estimates, and quarterly closes for submission to FP&A and Controllership leadership
• Present monthly dashboard reporting (aging reviews) to senior management (business CFO, general counsel, and Parks stakeholders)
• Analyze write-off and credit/reissue trends in order to make necessary operational or finance changes
• Ad hoc projects as needed

Qualifications/Requirements
• A minimum of 10 years of management experience in an accounting environment with at least 4 years of experience supervising employees
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Willingness to work overtime, and/or on weekends with short notice
• Experience leading a team within a fast paced and consumer driven organization
• Excellent analytical abilities are required, including advanced Excel skills and SAP knowledge
• Demonstrated ability to identify and implement efficiencies including change management experience

Desired Characteristics
• Consumer Products industry experience preferred

• Strong presentation skills, combined with the confidence and presence to interact with and present to executive levels
• Resourceful problem solver with the ability to prioritize and create approaches to meet required objectives
• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
