Job Description

Responsibilities
The Senior Accountant-Revenues will support the Senior Accounting Manager by performing various accounting and forecasting functions including journal entries, reconciliations, and allocations. This role will be responsible of recording all revenues transactions from LATAM countries. This position reports to the Senior Accounting Manager and will interact with the Financial Controller and VP of Finance.

Job Duties
• Prepare reconciliation reports for all Affiliates revenues by country for GL entry preparation.
• Prepare reconciliation reports for all Ad Sales by country for GL entry preparation.
• Prepare all Revenue related GL entries with its supporting documents and post to SAP.
• Assist Senior Accounting Manager with the accuracy & timely financial accounting across all revenue streams & related commissions & incentives as part of monthly close process.
• Assist Senior Accounting Manager with the Ad Sales Revenue Share recording.
• Assist Senior Accounting Manager with the annual agency incentive commissions reporting.
• Bad Debt Reserve summary preparation and recording.
• Post in SAP Deferred Revenue for Venezuela.
• Perform Blackline reconciliations.
• Frequently meet with team in order to ensure successful reporting and closings.
• In charge of reconciliations between different systems and accounting
• Work closely with the Billing/Collection department with the reporting & reconciliation of revenues and collection.
• Work closely with the FP&A team, especially in working with the Ad Sales department
• Ad Hoc assignments

Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent field
• Minimum of 3 years of GL accounting experience
• Advanced technical skills in Excel and integrated ERP Accounting systems such as SAP, BW, BPC, SMART, SNAP
• Language: Fluent in English and Spanish
Additional Job Requirements
• Must be willing to work in a hybrid work arrangement: remote & physical presence at Telemundo Centre located in Doral.
• Must be willing to submit to a background investigation
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the US
