Job Description
Responsibilities:
• Manage the daily output of E! News content to Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Facebook etc.
• Create, collect, and edit assets for each project, specifically Instagram Reels and TikTok
• Identify newsy or shareable soundbites with trending sounds from new and archive footage
• Craft social copy for videos and posts cross platform
• Work with Social Media manager to develop and grow fan engagement strategies
• Interact with followers to initiate authentic conversation and maintain a brand image and tone across all social platforms
• Identify viral and emerging stories/trends and pitch to the content team for write-ups. Provide insight for clever angles, second beats and shareable headlines
• Keep up to date on industry trends/productions methods/social strategies and work with social media manager to implement new tactics as necessary
• Assists with major initiatives as well as day-to-day news operations, including native social content, social engagement, audience development and social takeovers and branded campaigns
• Juggle multiple projects and shows with parallel timelines
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree
• 2+ years experience in social media/digital content
• Demonstrable experience identifying shareable/viral content: pop culture expert fluent in what's trending and always plugged in to latest conversations
• Excellent writing skills and a sharp wit - quick with a brand-appropriate Twitter copy or pop culturally relevant Instagram caption that aligns with the E! News voice
• Ability to abide by and enforce E!'s social media brand guidelines
• Experience with Premiere Pro, SocialFlow, Facebook Creator Studio, Dash Hudson plus thorough understanding of Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/TikTok insights preferred

• A good eye for content composition, either self-generated/created or professionally sourced
• Must love pop culture and all things entertainment news
