Responsibilities

The Position
NBCUniversal's Advertising Platforms & Operations team is responsible for the product development, project management, and day-to-day operations of NBCUniversal's full advertising technology suite. The division services both internal and external customers in support of NBCUniversal's $8B annual advertising business.The Technology Transformation team within Advertising Platforms & Operations (AP&O) oversees strategic projects and programs to support business priorities for NBCU's Global Advertising & Partnerships organization and manages organizational workflow standards and governance to ensure efficient product delivery. We are currently seeking a Program Manager of Technology Transformation to manage various medium to large sized projects or perform a secondary role on larger strategic initiatives. This role requires collaboration with external vendors and partners, as well as internal stakeholders across NBCU's brands (Entertainment, News, Peacock, and Sports), Advertising & Partnerships, Operations & Technology, Corporate Strategy, and Content Distribution.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Senior Director, Technology Transformation, the person in this role will:
• Lead one or more cross-functional programs, coordinating between internal resources and third-party vendors
• Own all program artifacts (including but not limited to project plans, roadmaps, risk register, communications plan), and facilitate meetings with detailed agendas and notes
• Manage conflicts, recognize risks, and employ mitigation tactics to ensure successful program execution
• Oversee the successful transition from product launch to ongoing operational support (i.e., transition management back to the business)
• Build and manage stakeholder relationships (both internal and external), communicating consistent updates as needed (bi-weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly) on the active and requested initiatives
• Identify opportunities to share and leverage best practices, processes cross-functionally
• Create and maintain Ad Platforms & Operations documentation
• Champion the organizational vision of our team, and evangelize our systems and tools to enable consistent and efficient product management

Qualifications/Requirements
• 3-5 years of PM experience w/Business or PM degree OR 4-8 years of PM/Business Operations experience, with PM/Business degree
• Experience in digital media and advertising platforms
• Outstanding organizational skills, and the ability to execute on larger portfolio projects
• Attention to detail while reviewing deliverables for completeness, quality, and compliance with established project requirements
• Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and deliver quality results
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, at the correct ''depth''
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Project, Visio, PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and Atlassian tools
• Excellent customer service skills

• The ability to clearly and concisely articulate complex concepts for a variety of audiences, including executive management
• Ability to advise on business process solutions, and guide business toward a solution when applicable
