Responsibilities
OVERVIEW
The Senior Manager, In-Theater Marketing position is based in Universal City, CA and reports to the Vice President, In-Theater Marketing. The role oversees projects with domestic exhibitors, campaign management (translating marketing strategy for exhibitor marketing programs) managing a diverse set of relationships. Externally, the Senior Manager will work with vendors and theatrical partners to effectively execute in-theater marketing programs. The Sr Manager will build and guide on presentations to external partners and lead on internal presentations. In addition, this role will collaborate closely with the International Marketing and Distribution teams on in-theater campaigns that are global. The role requires a strong understanding of digital marketing and the exhibitor ecosystem to best identify and execute in-theater marketing opportunities. Strong analytical and presentation skills are essential.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Under the direction of the VP of in-theater marketing, the Sr Manager will lead on select projects related to Film titles across Universal Pictures and Focus Features with the following responsibilities:
• Build, update and finalize in-theater campaign reports.
• Design in-theater marketing campaigns based on goals, strategy, and budget.
• Partner with exhibitors to identify opportunities and confirm programs.
• Collaborate with marketing teams – creative, publicity, brand, international, digital, and field.
• Identify growth opportunities for advertising in-theater and generating incremental box office revenue in partnership with exhibition. This can include:
• Pitch and execute programs.
• Identify trends and growth opportunities in all areas – digital and physical, lead team initiatives to grow in-theater impact.
• Track and oversee the progress of Global In-Theater Marketing assets and opportunities. This can include:
• Managing workflows and project status between domestic and international stakeholders.
• Lead on cinema partnerships with food and beverage companies and other partners in the exhibition space.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the entertainment industry or a marketing role.
• Relevant background in Theatrical and/or Brand Marketing.

• Strong presentation skills – keynote preferred. Experience with PowerPoint and Google studio.

• Passion for movie theaters and skills.
• Successful track record of collaborations and teamwork.
