Responsibilities

Role Purpose:
The Change and Communication team is an integral role within the Global Finance Operations Transformation program, which is an extensive multi-year programme which has the objective of streamlining NBCU's finance organization to better support the business and is jointly sponsored by the CFO and Global Controller.

The purpose of this role is to develop and deliver change plans and drive engaging communications to support the Global Finance Operations team in the successful deployment of proposed changes aligned with the wider Finance strategy. This is expected to be a 9-12-month assignment.

The aim of the role is to ensure business leaders, change agents, impacted employees and suppliers both provide input and are regularly engaged, understand the reasons and benefits of the changes, what it means for them, how they will be supported throughout the transition and the associated success factors.

The role will work closely with a wide variety of stakeholders in both Global Controllership and the wider Finance organization, HR and other business areas to ensure that activities are aligned, coordinated and integrated.

Responsibilities:
• Contribute to change and communication strategies, regularly update plans to support delivery of the Global Finance Operations Transformation. Contribute to weekly governance updates on deliverables
• Draft communications in simple, clear formats, guide through stakeholder reviews, and drive execution. Provide audience tracking
• Experience in delivering standard communication tools like newsletters, broad emails, executive presentations, intranet/SharePoint articles and new items
• Build and develop relationships with project teams and stakeholders both in and outside of Global Controllership
• Be able to manage multiple projects or project phases and drive them all forward simultaneously
• Drive completion and maintenance of Business Change Impact Assessment (BCIA) and Change Action Plan (including change readiness and embedding activities)
• Help to manage a complex stakeholder landscape to ensure understanding, buy in, and mitigate comms risk and issues to ensure a smooth path for project delivery
• Put important change messages into a business context and use global materials to support production of clear, simple, engaging copy and visual communications
• Track and manage key change and communication metrics

Complexity:
• The activities that come within the scope of this role are diverse, often with many interdependencies as well as sensitivities.
• The role involves considerable matrix working, influencing and stakeholder management and moves at pace.

Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
• 5 years+ experience of transformation communications planning and execution for a global matrixed organization
• 3 years+ experience delivering large organizational change and developing and deploying global campaigns to a diverse audience
• Experience of working with target operating model, process, and/or technology change
• Formal training in change and communication would be an advantage but not a requirement, ie PROSCI certification
• Experience in Finance would be an advantage but not a requirement

Eligibility Requirements:
• Must be willing to work in Universal City, CA
