Division Profile
NBCUniversal Global Distribution is responsible for the sales and distribution of NBC Universal product to all forms of television and new media platforms in over 200 territories across the globe, its revenue portfolio exceeding $5Bn per year. This includes a rich library of more than 4,200 feature films and 110,000 television episodes, including current and classic titles, non-scripted programming, sports, news, long-form and short-form programming, and locally produced content from around the world. NBCUniversal Global Distribution is a division of Comcast NBCUniversal.
Overview
The Senior Financial Analyst, Global Distribution and International, will be responsible for assisting Global Distribution Accounting and Reporting with the monthly and quarterly close process, financial audit and SOX compliance, customer audits, and monthly reporting to third parties for whom NBCU serves as the distribution agent. The role will report into the Senior Manager, Finance, Global Distribution and will work closely with finance and controllership.

Responsibilities
• Prepare monthly reporting to third parties for whom NBCU acts as distribution agent.
• Lead efforts in coordination of customer audits and participate in internal and external financial statement and SOX audits, as well as international statutory audits.
• Assist with implementation, monitoring, and testing of key and non-key SOX controls.
• Prepare reconciliations in accordance with company policy.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly journal entries.
• Prepare Period Close Calendar & lead ME & QE close conference calls.
• Manage close process of the financial sub-system and interface data to the G/L.
• Domestic & International Auxiliary revenue management.
• Perform ad hoc reporting and special projects as requested.

Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• CPA, or actively obtaining CPA license.
• Minimum of 5 years relevant accounting/finance experience.

Eligibility Requirements:
• Must be willing to work in Universal City, California.
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
• Must submit an attestation disclosing your COVID-19 vaccination status and, if partially or fully vaccinated, submitting your vaccination record no later than 7 days following commencement of employment.
