Job Description
Responsibilities

An opportunity for a Senior Commercial Finance Analyst to join our London team, supporting the Head of FP&A in a commercial focused finance role to help drive performance and growth within the Content Group.
• Support the deal approval greenlight process, tracking submissions for board approval, assessing deal submissions for accuracy and profitability and providing the first approval before the title goes to the Board
• Assist with budgeting and reporting of actuals for Marketing and Operational central spend
• Key contributor to the monthly forecasting and quarter close processes, managing key submissions to the HQ Finance team
• Assist with reporting of groups' performance to senior management
• Present key findings to management that can support future acquisition strategy
• Work with distribution teams to track and update titles ultimate's (expected lifetime performance)
• Analyse title performance, including in year and ultimate's, across business units/genres/slate years
• Responsible for Sublicense revenue tracking & reporting
• Work with Royalties to ensure correct accounting treatment on titles
• Support the Budget and Long-Range Plan process, helping to build forecasts and manage the submissions to the HQ Finance team
• Handle numerous ad hoc projects and report requests

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal & communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to deliver on multiple assignments and be effective and decisive under pressure
• Proven track-record of meeting and managing deadlines
• Ability to convey financial and accounting matters to non-finance operators and build strong relationships
• Aptitude for problem solving and an ability to identify and implement process improvement and change management
• Strong analytical and technical skills with a good understanding of Balance Sheet and P&L statements
• Advanced MS Excel & PowerPoint skills and ability to learn new systems quickly/become an ''expert''
• Qualified finance professional; ACA/CIMA/ACCA
• Undergraduate education or equivalent experience
• Experience working within Finance
• Attention to detail with proven accuracy
• Media experience a plus
