Job Description

Freelance Scheduler

Responsibilities:
This is a part-time project / limited term position with an estimated duration of 7 months, unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed.
• Schedule Studio & Field Operations personnel
• Build crewing spreadsheets based on information you will acquire from various schedules
• Coordinate facilities & schedules with staff and freelancer manpower
• Hiring point person for Studio & Field operations freelancers
• Inputting of hours worked into ScheduAll & SCORE systems
• Ensure compliance with all applicable company policies.
• Work closely with show Directors, Producers and APs to assess production manpower needs
• Works closely with Technical Managers and Production Managers to help solve any crew issues
• Onboarding of new technicians
• Learn and comprehend all below the line positions
• May perform other duties as needed or assigned

Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
• BS/BA degree required in a related field or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in studio & field broadcast operations or related field
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Excellent computer skills with the demonstrated ability to navigate new systems and software
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Extremely organized, detail and deadline oriented and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a team
• Possess a high level of initiative
• Must be an effective trouble shooter, communicator and problem solver

Eligibility Requirements:
• Position will be remote until further notice. Candidate must be willing to work in Stamford, CT
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule (i.e. nights and weekends)
• Comfortable with domestic travel when required
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Must be 18 years or older
