Responsibilities
OVERVIEW

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the linear and digital marketplace and will be able to work in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment. As the Sales Planner at NBCUniversal, you work closely with the Sales team in various client-facing and operational processes. You will need to be able to oversee, manage and execute the day-to-day media planning, implementation, optimization and reporting requirements to meet our client objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist with preparation of sales pitch/proposals for TV, digital and events, which includes data research, idea generation, presentation slides and visual aids such as videos.
• Act as a resource center for all sales tools, products, and event opportunities. Keeping all information updated and shared amongst the ad sales teams regionally.
• Lead in the creation of proposals for incoming RFPs by building media plans to meet advertiser objectives.
• Act as the coordinator for client/agencies and NBCU on Sales deal execution and after sales support.
• Ensure accurate pricing, available inventory and acquire all approvals from the relevant stakeholders prior to sending out a proposal.
• Monitor/optimise deal performance and work to secure makegoods or provide creative solutions to ensure smooth and successful deals delivery.
• Provide excellent account servicing and actively develop relationships for agency partners and clients.
• Create post campaign analysis deck and case studies for selected campaigns on a regular basis.
• Support Director, Sales Planning & Operations on NBCU global sales initiatives including but not limited to sponsorship or tactical packages, fulfilment and execution.
• Collect competitor intelligence on how other channels sell and position their channels/websites and champion the NBCU digital offerings.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Diploma or Degree in Communications, Marketing, Business or a related field of study.
• Preferably 1-3 years of experience in client servicing role.
• Prior work experience at a media agency, publisher or media owner will be an advantage.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite.
• Familiarity with OperativeOne, Salesforce and social media platforms is a plus.
• Creative and innovative individual with the flair to think out of the box.
• Must be self-motivated, driven and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Able to multi-task and prioritize workload in a fast-paced, dynamic and deadline driven environment.
• Meticulous, analytical and a keen eye for details.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
