The Project Manager, Brand Operations - Retail will help manage deliverables for the UP&E retail teams including project planning, multi-layered retail/licensing/franchise account tracking, product development milestones, asset management, summits and other key meetings. The Project Manager is the lead communicator and cross function liaison across the business, with key partners in retail, licensing, product design, creative and marketing. This position reports to the Director of Brand Operations, Multimedia & Retail.
Responsibilities include:
• Partners with retail leads to ensure seamless management of projects and requests
• Manages tools and processes that effectively track complex retail and licensing accounts in a simplified and clear manner
• Works enterprise wide, ensuring exceptional creative quality that is aligned globally
• Maintains accurate project list/job status sheet for all projects with proactive management
• Creates and enforces production timelines and schedules, including the facilitation of cross functional reviews and management of executive approvals
• Manages both short- and long-term deadlines in a fast-paced working environment, allowing for flexibility without compromising accuracy or quality
• Effectively communicates as the key liaison, maintaining strong relationships and processes with cross functional partners
• Inspires multi-layered creative and product design teams to deliver high-caliber work against tight deadlines
• Ensures operational excellence through development and execution of best-in-class processes organization-wide
• Coordinates and manages agendas for cross-functional and executive-level meetings
• Drives for organizational effectiveness by ensuring completion of tasks through meeting recaps and goal/timeline setting
• Contributes to the advancement and actualization of Universal's diversity, equity, and inclusion commitments
• Supports additional projects within the UP&E Multimedia group as needed
Qualifications
Qualifications/Requirements:
• 5 years or more of related work experience, ideally in Operations
• Experience in retail preferred; understanding of retail timelines and product development cycles, as well as key retail events desired
• Strategic, critical thinker and creative problem solver
• Effective communication, including speaking, writing and active listening as well as a professional presentation
• Prior experience working with high profile executives
• Ability to collaborate, take initiative, have follow-through, and work independently
• Strong MAC skills, and highly proficient in Keynote, Outlook, Excel, Word, & PowerPoint
• Highest-level project management skills, including attention to detail, time management, prioritization, and multitasking abilities
• Must be a self-motivated & enjoy working in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment

Additional Requirements:
