Responsibilities
Job Purpose:
Access Hollywood production group is looking for a NY Production Manager to support administrative, facilities and strategic operations in our NY office.
Essential Responsibilities:
• Schedule daily ENG Crews to gather material including Camera Operators, Audio, and Talent/ Guest Coordination in conjunction with the NY Bureau Manager
• Liaison with internal corporate partners such as O&T, Facilities, and Security to execute production needs inside and outside of our offices including interviews, event coverage, live hits from location, and semi-annual show tapings from NY
• Track production project budgets and report weekly to the Coordinating Producer- Production and EIC in LA to review actuals for production needs, technical integration and crew estimates
• Maintain ''shooting suite'' within 30 Rock and schedule shoots for both digital and broadcast
• Assist accounting as needed including receipt reimbursement, event budgeting, and in coordination with the NY Bureau Manager oversight of crew and staff hours
• Order office supplies and other office management responsibilities
• Ensure that crew is maintaining gear and have what they need to execute shoots
• Communicate with all related parties (including those in LA) to keep projects on schedule and meet necessary delivery deadlines
• Establish relationships within 30 Rock to create synergy and opportunities around technical resources including shooting spaces, equipment, and crew
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum 3 years of experience working on commercial, film, or TV series sets or within a studio production environment at a production company, television series or television network
• Minimum 1 year in a production manager role
• Consistent experience overseeing production budgets in excess of $100k
• Basic knowledge of technical aspects of video production, including gear and post production workflows including show deliverables and field production
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and production budgeting templates
• College Degree, preferred
Eligibility Requirements:
• Willingness to work weekends, occasionally with short notice
• Must be willing to work in New York, NY
• Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU's Alternative Dispute Resolution Program
