Responsibilities
The Position
NBCUniversal's Advertising Platforms & Operations team is responsible for the product development, project management, and day-to-day operations of NBCUniversal's full advertising technology suite. The division services both internal and external customers in support of NBCUniversal's $10B+ annual advertising business.

The AP&O Business Intelligence team leverages data to empower our business customers with actionable insights that drive business performance and fosters a culture of data-driven decision-making. We are currently seeking a Product Manager to execute on a comprehensive roadmap supporting our operational business customers across Ad Sales, Platform Monetization, Operations, and Finance. This person will learn how data can inform our customers' workflows, apply best-in-class technology solutions to enable access to data, drive efficiencies in business processes, facilitate proactive decision-making, and ensure a trusted and quality data experience. The ideal candidate is a highly collaborative individual who is passionate about media and advertising innovation, cares about customers, and understands the value of high-quality customer experiences.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Director, Product, Business Intelligence, the person in this role will:
• Build professional relationships with customers to understand their needs and priorities
• Collaborate with other product managers to define products that meet customer needs and priorities
• Gather and synthesize detailed product requirements that align with strategic product roadmaps for review and approval from customers
• Advocate for customer needs with product and engineering partners, ensuring products and their features are clearly understood and documented
• Manage product requirements throughout the product development lifecycle and engage customers to confirm, clarify, and validate when appropriate
• Engage customers for acceptance testing, product demonstrations, and go-to-market activities (e.g., product training, etc.)
• Engage with our sales teams while working cross-functionally with our internal business customers on their sales reporting needs across linear and digital
• Create and manage enterprise reports, dashboards, and self-service environments, as needed
• Create and maintain documentation related to in-house applications including training manuals

Qualifications/Requirements
Business Management
• Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience in product management or related field
• Outstanding organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable in cross-functional environments
• Fluency with data; can interpret market dynamics and user behaviors, measure product key metrics, and communicate outcomes to stakeholders
• Experience with product management tools (e.g., Roadmunk, Aha, etc.)
• Experience with work management and documentation tools, preferably Jira and Confluence
• Proven ability to understand and communicate using technical language
• Working knowledge of various business intelligence tools such as Microstrategy, Tableau, Domo, Looker, etc.

Desired Characteristics
• Experience working for a large-scale media company, specifically within / supporting advertising sales
• Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment
• Technically proficient in SQL with the ability to mine data and build POCs
• Familiarity with Ad Sales
