Procurement Specialist

Job Description

Responsibilities
Support the Procurement IT Infrastructure team in strategy implementation, procurement initiatives, RFP activities, agreement negotiations, vendor and strategy management. Act as liaison between the sourcing organization, stake holders and other corporate functions involved in the procurement process. Create a solid relationship with stakeholders; maintain a trustworthy work ethic and a team environment. Partner with Comcast and Sky Procurement Teams and Business Stakeholders to drive enterprise deals and agreements.

Job Responsibilities:
• Lead RFP efforts and activities pre and post bid
• Facilitate proposal analysis, comparisons and vendor back ground checks
• Provide a strategic insight and market intel to facilitate the decision making process
• Lead contract and legal negotiation efforts
• Responsible for timely execution of projects, coordinating efforts across all stakeholders and participating functions like, legal, finance, information security and governance
• Manage relationships with vendors and business stakeholders
• Maintain accurate spend and contract-related data in numerous databases
• Analyzing and calculating procurement costs and developing cost reduction strategies.

Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent
• Minimum of 3-year experience in sourcing and procurement of products and services
• Strong commercial and legal acumen, ability to negotiate contracts and support the legal department
• Strong data analytics capabilities, including proficiency in Excel based analytics such as pivot tables and other advanced functions

• Must be willing to work in New York, NY
• Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States

• Working knowledge of Infrastructure Broadcast Technologies, including public cloud, servers, storage, PCs and/or network security is a plus A/V hardware and software and/or Production equipment and solutions is a plus.
