Responsibilities
The Strategy & Development Team is responsible for leading the business and strategy functions for NBCU's Digital and Advanced TV advertising sales business. Within the Strategy & Development Team, the Partnerships Team builds and operates a portfolio of ad sales partnerships with leading and emerging digital platforms. That includes identifying profitable revenue opportunities, developing the structure, partnerships, capabilities, go-to-market strategies, and execution plans necessary to capture the growth opportunities, and driving those plans to implementation and through ongoing operations. We partner closely with the sales teams, product teams, and content teams to manage and drive rapid revenue growth.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The high-growth digital Partnerships team is seeking an experienced professional to join as the Analyst, Partnerships with a focus on our New Media Products portfolio. We're looking for an exceptional, results-oriented individual who uniquely combines the interpersonal skills to work cross-functionally within NBCU's Ad Sales division and the quantitative skills to analyze and grow the business. The Analyst, Partnerships will support the Partnerships team in identifying and implementing growth opportunities and track key performance metrics to measure success.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Support the Partnerships team by working cross-functionally to track performance and measure success across key new and emerging ad partnerships
• Track and report on monthly/quarterly performance across key ad partnerships, develop measurement approaches, and produce actionable insights
• Leverage various data sources (e.g., NBCU Internal budgeting and reporting systems, SalesForce) and tools to produce impactful reports and insights around partnership performance, monetization opportunities
• Work closely with internal sales, planning, product, and marketing stakeholders to inform insights, improve existing business operations, and support the execution of new initiatives to drive growth
• Keep abreast of technology/media industry trends and market conditions
Qualifications/Requirements
• Bachelor's degree required
• Minimum 2 - 3 years of relevant experience in data analysis, advertising, strategy, media research, finance, or consulting
• Proven quantitative analytical abilities, including Excel modeling skills
• Strong PowerPoint skills and proven proficiency in summarizing information/analyses into coherent and concise slides
• Excellent organizational, time, and people management skills and the ability to work in groups and independently
Desired Characteristics
• Previous experience in advertising sales, a media/tech company or consulting/investment banking preferred
• Uniquely combine quantitative skills needed to analyze the business with interpersonal skills needed to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
• High comfort level performing real-time business analysis and execution of priority initiatives
• Passion for simplifying complex concepts, defining value propositions, and championing the voice of sales
