Function
The Market Sales Manager will contribute to the technology sales focus of the business for our range of product software and services that enable golf clubs to manage their operations efficiently, and drive revenue for our business.
Key Responsibilities
Relationship building and management will be at the core of this role leading to new customer acquisition as well as further developing existing accounts to increase revenue by product adoption and upselling. The Market Sales Manager will be revenue focused and contribute to business success by;
• Developing a well-rounded understanding of our sales philosophy, market and customer needs
• Build and develop a market sales strategy to drive acquisition and growth
• Owning and maintaining advanced product knowledge across our solutions to differentiate yourself and BRS Golf by GOLFNOW as both a technical and business fit in a competitive marketplace
• Building and leverage a strong network within and across the industry, identifying potential new customers and engaging with prospects to promote and demonstrate our products and services.
• Fostering and maintaining strong relationships with established course partners in your region, ensuring their suite of products and services adds value and recognizing opportunities to promote additional or new offerings.
• Being results focused in meeting and/or exceeding individual and department metrics and goals, as well as exercising accountability, proactivity and a strong work ethic in driving revenue growth across your region.
• Follow-through on all commitments to customers ensuring a successful internal transition throughout the customer engagement process.
• Maintaining accurate daily record of sales activity using Salesforce.com.
• Acting as an ambassador for the business and participating on behalf of the company in exhibitions, conferences, and/or events that are determined to assist in accelerating sales or building your profile.
• Engaging with colleagues internationally to understand and support the growth of a positive company culture in your region, ensuring that core values and ''good sportsperson-ship'' behaviours are consistently demonstrated.
Minimum Requirements
It is essential that candidates have the following:
• 5+ years of professional sales experience in the golf industry that includes significant experience in SAAS sales.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills demonstrated through both virtual and face to face settings
• Proven track record in new customer acquisition
• A results-oriented mindset and a proven record of achieving targets and objectives.
• Experience of using Salesforce or similar CRM.
• Experience of analysing, collating and presenting data/ demos to support proposals to current and prospective clients.
• Strong technical understanding and high comfort level of using and demonstrating web-based cloud applications.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Own car and hold a UK Driving License.
Additional Desirable Skills & Experience
• Education to degree level in a relevant discipline (e.g. Business/ Marketing/ IT).
• Familiarity of the market relating to golf within the region of England
• Background experience in any of the following - payments / membership management / POS is desirable though not required.
