Responsibilities
Role Purpose
This individual will be primarily responsible for supporting the Fair Employment group with developing, delivering, and implementing training and other workplace initiatives aimed at fostering a respectful workplace with an eye toward diversity, equity and inclusion in corporate and production environments. Additionally, as needed, this individual will conduct investigations of workplace complaints. The ideal candidate is proactive, collaborative, creative and has excellent public speaking and organizational skills. This role will report to the Senior Director, Fair Employment Practices.
Job Duties
• Develop and deliver training to employees and supervisors in both production and corporate environments
• Partner with various stakeholders in Legal and HR to create, revise, and implement policies, procedures, and trainings related to respect in the workplace, preventing harassment and discrimination, mitigating bias and effective people management
• Investigate highly sensitive and/or complex issues relating to allegations of harassment, discrimination, bullying or unfair management practices in partnership with Employment Law & Human Resources
• Analyze and advise on employment related risk in corporate and production policies, practices, and initiatives to assess impact on employees and to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion
• Assist in facilitation of employee feedback sessions and partner with management on developing an appropriate action plan for improving positive employee relations
• Organize and analyze training metrics for insights on business needs and strategic planning
Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree; Law Degree Preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of Employee Relations or Human Resources experience OR minimum 3 years of Employment Law experience
• Interest in Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
Additional Job Requirements
• Must be willing to work in Universal City, California
• Some travel within the US will be required
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Must be willing to adhere to all Company COVID-19 workplace safety policies and protocol
• Must submit an attestation disclosing your COVID-19 vaccination status and, if partially or fully vaccinated, submitting your vaccination record no later than 7 days following commencement of employment
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 at the commencement of employment or must undergo regular COVID-19 testing if Company determines your job position requires accessing an NBCUniversal worksite
