Job Description
Responsibilities

This role will report to the Senior Manager, Social Insights, and will be responsible for organic social analytics and insights at Peacock including all brand/show handles. This person will be working directly with the Peacock Social Team and the Decision Sciences team, to deliver reports and insights to both internal and external stakeholders, driving data-led decisions that inform social media strategy for brand/tentpoles, originals/sports/film campaigns, and franchises.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Conduct regular cadence of organic, earned, and competitive social reporting (channel growth, audience engagement, campaign effectiveness, content effectiveness, A/B testing, social listening flash/trend reports, etc.)
• Map, mine, analyze, and synthesize complex data sets into easy-to-consume storylines visually and verbally
• Drive performance feedback loop to provide timely, actionable insights that enable the Social team to optimize content, editorial, and campaign decisions
• Partner with team leads to define and implement test-and-learn plans to enhance content strategy across platforms and ensure performance is consistent with our business goals
• Set up tools and dashboards to track day-to-day campaign efficacy and monitor brand health
• Support daily/weekly performance deep dives with large groups of social editors and stakeholders
• Present and communicate performance results and findings to various stakeholders at all levels
• Remain abreast of the latest changes and advancements in social media algorithms, channels, and tools.

Qualifications
• Minimum of 5 years in a lead analyst role in the media or entertainment industry, preferably on the brand side or at a top agency or consultancy
• Strong understanding of social platforms algorithms and native measurement solutions (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube platform analytics)
• Hands-on experience with 3rd party analytic/listening/competitive tools like ListenFirst, Netbase, Sprinklr, Dash Hudson, Talkwalker, etc.
• Strong excel and data viz (e.g. PowerPoint) skills, programming skills a plus
• Knowledge of the Peacock streaming offering, as well as NBCU brands, and their interface with the media industry
• Ability to work well with various types of people and personalities across multiple departments and levels of seniority
• Good judgment, problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
• Positive attitude and high level of professionalism
• Impeccable written and spoken communication skills, articulate and thoughtful
• Team-oriented and collaborative with an aptitude and willingness to learn
