Responsibilities
NBCUniversal is looking for a Manager of Programmatic Yield. This role will be equal parts analytical and collaborative. The individual will be tasked with monitoring capacity, yield, and performance across all programmatic endpoints, and working with necessary stakeholders on the site teams, in product, and in planning to suggest areas of for potential optimization. In addition, this person will be the first line of defense in supply health, monitoring endpoints on a daily basis to flag any integration issues that could emerge.

The duties of this position are as follows:
• Tracking daily capacity and monetization by all granularity for NBC's programmatic business, including by NBC property, content type, device, and endpoint.
• Communicating with planning team to ensure we optimize video deal prioritization
• Manage relationships with programmatic SSPs in an effort to constantly drive yield for NBC's programmatic display offering
• Produce materials to illustrate performance of NBCU's programmatic business in comparison to the rest of the ad sales portfolio as well as industry as a whole
• Analyze yield performance in conjunction with other metrics (viewability, addressability, capacity) to tell cohesive stories around what is driving yield at NBC
• Produce ongoing blind-spot analysis within and between SSPs to identify areas of opportunity for sales personnel
• Regularly collaborate with brand teams to test and monitor performance on specific site sections to ensure we maximize all KPIs (viewability, addressability, revenue)
• Monitor programmatic performance across a variety of sales channels and be able to differentiate sales teams delivering on programmatic
• Routine ad hoc analysis when evaluating potential new vendors as well as revenue impact when existing partners make any UX changes that could impact yield
• Incorporate new metrics and dimensions of analysis as they become necessary and the programmatic team engages additional business units

Qualifications/Requirements
• BA/BS degree from top undergraduate institution
• Minimum 2+ years professional experience at a leading investment bank, management consulting firm, media company, or corporate strategy/development group of a Fortune 500 company
• Familiarity with the programmatic ecosystem.
• Strong understanding of Programmatic in AdThe broader your understanding of the ad sales universe, and the role programmatic plays in it, the better.
• Understanding of basic components of ecosystem such as DSPs, SSPs, Trading Desks, and Ad Servers, and the way they all function.
• Strong analytical skills. This is a role for someone who likes analyzing data in spreadsheets and databases all day.
• Creativity is essential. You will need to be proactive and curious. Launching frequent experiments in a variety of ways and understanding what drives the outcomes will be critical. Your ability to explain your rationale will be essential.
• Mandatory skills: Excel ninja. Nice to have: SQL/Python
