Responsibilities

Summary:
The Manager, Operations is responsible for project management, Greenlight calendar, bi-weekly Product Reviews and coordination and collation of supporting materials for games and digital media in all stages of development from strategic analysis to live operations through to sunset within Universal's Games and Digital Platforms. This role will take an active role in coordinating efforts to prioritize, analyze and implement business processes through coordination and communication with the broader Games team. This role is also responsible for helping identifying risks throughout entire development cycles and conduct post-mortems evaluations to ensure continued operational improvements. This position reports to the VP, Finance and Operations.

Responsibilities include:
• Oversight of Project Management on all games and Digital Media projects and/or initiatives
• Own and drive Project Management processes
• Work with all partners to provide a vetted project plan and tracking strategy
• Drive the process to coordinate with Production, Marketing and Business Development teams to track schedule/budget
• Continuously asses risk and mitigation plans provided by partners, or internal teams and provide schedule/project impact
• Greenlight Process
• Own and drive the group's Greenlight (GL) calendar and meeting cadence
• Drive the process to coordinate with Exec team to prioritize GL calendar
• Ensure team is prepared at all stages of Greenlight from Due Diligence through Sunset meetings.
• Provide template for teams to utilize during GL process
• Bi-Weekly Product Reviews
• Own and drive the group's bi-weekly Product Review and Product Update calendars and meeting cadence
• Take meeting notes and communicate out to organization post meetings
• Provide teams with follow up action items and next steps from reviews
• Provide templates for teams to utilize for meetings, as appropriate
• Develop strategies to manage group's Operations function with VP, Finance and SVP, Production

Qualifications

Qualifications/Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 5+ years of project management and/or production operations within an interactive and/or mobile games environment
• Expert in Agile/Scrum methodology
• Basic technical knowledge of Games and Website development processes
• Track record of shipped games in project management function
• Prior experience managing teams in multiple development environments
• Excellent project management and communication skills
• Ability to present and speak at the Executive Level
