Responsibilities
Role Purpose

The Manager, Games Event Management, is responsible for the overall management of accommodations for short and long-term housing related to the Olympic Games in addition to managing ticketing distribution process and inventory.

Responsibilities
• Support the overall management of NBC Olympic accommodation plans by sourcing long-term housing, organizing system data, and working with business units to fulfill requests
• Serve as a liaison to local and host-city hotels by communicating reservation lists and business needs
• Become an expert with internal NBC Sports Group database/CRM software (SCORE) including building out properties and pulling financials and auditing details within the tool
• Manage required detail within Olympic Committee provided accommodations CRM & maintain direct communications with host-city hotels
• Build expertise in TicketManager and Olympic Committee Ticketing CRM. Communicate with internal stakeholders to maintain event ticket inventory and finalize company-wide requests for the Organizing Committee to manage inventory related to ticket sales
• Responsible for completing regular financial reporting of Olympic Event Management data to determine cost projections and financial risk
• Assist with the recruitment, training, and management of Games-time staff at the host-city Logistics Office

Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum 3 years of project management experience, preferably in the area of travel and sports, and/or special events.
• Willingness to work weekends and long hours; extensive time and travel to Olympic cities.

• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule. Including overnights, weekends and holidays and must be able to adapt with little notice.
• Must be willing to work in Stamford, CT.
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
