Job Description

Responsibilities
• Oversee both the short- & long-term planning of promotional campaigns.
• Supervise promo planning team across the regional offices, train, coach and develop.
• Analyze and evaluate the ad sales projection inventory consumption to suggest to the programming team the correct time slot for the show per month, per channel/ feed.
• Evaluate show formats & make changes to promo time allocation as needed.
• Suggest template & Break Structure for the Original Productions.
• Creating & recommending promotional plans for Symphony Projects, Digital and any other Marketing on air integration.
• Participate in creative brainstorming sessions for projects, on-air calls with International Team, Programming calls (LatAm), and monthly make list revisions and calls
• Work with the On Air Team (La Agencia):
• Standardize the deliveries process, nomenclatures, times for deliveries.
• Request various creatives, spot lengths, and create promotional plans - timelines.
• Planning secondary events & channel bugs
• Possess a mastery of all channel programming grids and track changes.
• Run monthly meetings with Traffic to discuss upcoming promotional needs and strategic implementations.
• Work with Operations on all related promo scheduling issues, communications, and workflows between the departments.
• Work with sister networks to utilize Cross promotional & Barter's priorities
• Screen, revise and approve all the barter promotions received.
• Screen promos, interstitials, ID's and other short form elements for accuracy and content.
• Work along with the Ad Sales team for the Sponsor dekos and providing guidelines.
• Work with Research to evaluate success of show campaigns & use knowledge to further inform development of future campaigns.
• Collaborate with the strategies, processes, and workflow for Universal+.
• Utilize all available promotional elements to promote to key target demo groups around programming throughout the day and to create a flow from one program to another.
• Work on on-going projects.

Qualifications/Requirements
• Possesses a background with operations and media
• 5 years of work experience
• 3 years of media planning experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel
• Languages: Fully bilingual in English and Spanish
• Must be willing to work in Miami
• Willingness to travel and work overtime, and on weekends with short notice (if applicable)
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must be ''on call'' 24 hours a day / 7 days a week (if applicable)
• Must be able to provide a reel/portfolio of work examples -- if available, include a web address when you submit your resume

Desired Characteristics
• Experience working with Latin America in order to understand the different practices, rules, regulations, and markets is preferred Possesses creative, logical and strategic thinking
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and is able to work with tight deadlines & prioritize effectively
• Knowledge/proficiency with programs such as Landmark, ForeTV, Mediator preferred
• Experience managing teams preferred
