Responsibilities

The Manager of Ad Sales Marketing position is responsible for working with key stakeholders, internally and externally, to help increase national sales of all multiplatform Olympics properties through the creation and implementation of sponsorship elements. Reporting to the Director, One Platform Creative Development (OPCD) NBC Olympics, this position will manage the creation of sales materials and execution of custom marketing elements of select categories of business from a pre-sale, execution and post-sale perspective.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Sponsorship Development:
• Responsible for developing NBC Olympics sales marketing materials for key Olympics advertisers and prospects – including but not limited to: pitch decks, client/category/marketplace research, advertiser recaps, promos, etc.
• Management of 360/cross-platform client deliverables and timelines
• Sponsorship Implementation:
• Work with key counterparts in Production, Programming, Consumer Marketing, Insights & Measurement and NBCU One Platform groups as well as other teams across NBCUniversal to ensure successful and quality execution of all sponsorship elements
• Oversight of development, scheduling, approvals, for sales features and custom digital content
• In-Games sales feature enhancements and digital/social elements
• Presentation:
• Serve as a part of the overall sales process, including development of assets to highlight/showcase the offerings, and be a part of key client meetings to sell-in ideas as needed.
• Management:
• Manage, and mentor a junior member of the Olympic Sales Marketing team
• Develop and coordinate an internal training plan for a junior member of the team

Qualifications

Qualifications
• 6+ years of experience with an agency, client, media company or sales/marketing organization background, where the individual has understanding of sponsorship sales process, as well as proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing programs for advertisers
• Aptitude and direct experience in developing sports sponsorships or marketing solutions
• Proficiency in visual storytelling with skill in PowerPoint, Keynote, and Photoshop
• Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent work experience

Eligibility Requirements
• Must be willing to work in New York, NY
• Willingness to travel and work overtime
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States

• Robust understanding of advertising within all platforms of the sports media space
• Ability to interact with senior-level management, internally and externally
• Strong organizational, project & event management
• Understanding of the creative development process
• Knowledge of media marketing, the sales process, and media in general
• Knowledge of sports marketplace
• Meticulous with a keen eye for detail
• Highly innovative with positive energy
• Possess strong interpersonal skills – with the ability to lead and motivate a team
• Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, as well as other presentation platforms

Salary Range: $95,000-$105,000; bonus eligible
