Division Profile
The NBC Universal Global Distribution division is responsible for the distribution of NBC Universal product to all forms of television and new media to over 200 territories worldwide. This includes a rich library of more than 4,200 feature films and 110,000 television episodes, including current and classic titles, non-scripted programming, sports, news, long-form and short-form programming, and locally produced content from around the world. Global Distribution is a division of Comcast NBC Universal.
Overview
The Manager will be responsible for servicing audio-visual components to local linear and digital licensees with a focus on Australian and New Zealand territories. This position will also manage a team of at least two direct reports.
Responsibilities include:
• Interact with Sales, Sales Administration, Legal, Marketing, Publicity, and internal and external Post-production and Storage facilities to ensure that all necessary materials are properly created and delivered in accordance with contractual terms.
• Coordinate with Sales and Legal from deal negotiation through execution and identify how deal terms impact operations and determine delivery obligations.
• Act as a key leadership figure within the team by supporting and managing direct reports.
• Handle high-volume component-based orders, many of which will require close tracking of current series and theatrical products.
• Research the availability of assets and work with clients to onboard technical specifications and delivery methods.
• Act as the first point of contact with clients and provide timely responses to all questions and concerns regarding all NBC Universal products.
• Maintain reports of all products licensed, delivery requirements, and status of services.
• Update purchase orders and inventory systems with relevant delivery and invoice information.
• Investigate and resolve material rejections with minimal supervision.
• Quickly resolve short-term issues without losing track of longer-term tasks and prioritize tasks based on business need.
• Work with team leads to manage and revaluate workflows as necessary to improve efficiency within the team.
• Collaborate with department team leads, in both London and LA, to ensure overlapping workflows/processes are in sync across the department.
• Assist with special projects as needed and perform other related duties as requested by management.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
• Minimum BA or equivalent Degree.
• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in the entertainment industry or 2 years of experience in distribution operations.
• Experience servicing linear and/or EST, VOD, and SVOD clients.
• Technical knowledge of videotape, digital encoding formats, and electronic delivery methods.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including but not limited to Excel, Word, OneDrive, and Outlook.

• Must be willing to work in Universal City, California.
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.

• Excellent attention to detail with a proven track record of organizing large-scale or long-term projects with a clear plan of action that includes metrics and goals.
• Team player with the ability to work independently when needed, but also be able to actively contribute to completing team tasks and projects.
• Ability to work extended hours as needed including weekends.
• Foreign language skills are a plus, but not necessary.
