Role

Comcast NBCUnites, our volunteering and social impact program, was created in 2019 to support the communities where we live and work and to provide employees an opportunity to get involved in a variety of causes.

The Employee Engagement and Nonprofit Partnership Manager position provides a unique opportunity for an individual with superior project management, communications and relationship building skills to support these efforts. This individual will be involved in all levels of developing employee engagement and volunteerism programs with domestic and international non-profit organizations that address our key focus areas: Building Stronger Communities, Empowering the Next Generation of Storytellers, and Promoting Media and Technology Skills. This person will also be involved in other charitable giving programs including Project Innovation, our annual grant program in collaboration with the NBCUniversal Owned and Operated stations.

Responsibilities
• Supports development and execution of NBCUniversal's employee engagement and volunteerism programs, engaging and activating employees in impactful local and virtual community activities. Oversee event logistics, curate and design event curriculum & activities, and demonstrate ROI & impact through surveys and post-event recap presentations.
• Manages and creates relationships with leading corporate responsibility, civic engagement, and service organizations.
• Manage domestic and international employee event coordination.
• Research industry best practices in the employee engagement space and provide recommendations and innovative solutions for implementation. Source and develop ideas for new employee engagement activities.
• Work on large-scale campaigns and projects with concurrent deadlines, such as annual volunteer initiatives or giving campaigns.
• Support Project Innovation, our annual grant program in collaboration with the NBCUniversal owned and operated stations.
• Work closely with other CSR and adjacent functions across Comcast NBCUniversal to support employee engagement.
• Work closely with NBCU Creative, legal, finance and other NBCU businesses as needed to execute programming.

Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Social Responsibly or other related field majors.
• 7+ years of progressive experience organizing employee volunteerism and/or related functions touching the employee experience in a large corporate company setting.

• Must be willing to work in New York, NY
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Must be 18 years or older

Desired Characteristics

Desired Characteristics
• Experience working with youth or education focused nonprofit organizations.
• Experience with grant programs from a corporate or nonprofit purview preferred.
• Prior professional experience in the media, entertainment or technology industries.
• Experience in a supervisory or team leadership capacity.
• Experience with VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
• Proficiency in Adobe products, Photoshop or InDesign.
• Project and event management experience including large scale event planning and facilitation of in-person and/or virtual events; oversight of volunteer oriented experiences.
• Excellent time management, attention to detail, and organization and delegation skills. Strong capacity for balancing multiple priority initiatives at once.
• Strong reporting skills and business acumen. Ability to make sound decisions and recommendations based on data.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook), Experience facilitating Microsoft Teams meetings.
• The ability to effectively interface with all levels of management and great executive presence.
• Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships including vendor relationships.
• Excellent verbal/written communication and persuasion skills, interpersonal and presentation skills, and customer service skills.
• Passion for service and volunteering, social justice and equity, and supporting underserved and diverse communities.
