Responsibilities
Job Purpose:
UPHE's Domestic Digital Distribution group is responsible for managing the studio's Film and TV transactional business (Electronic Sell-Through and Video-On-Demand) across all distribution platforms. The primary role of the Manager of Digital Business Development & Strategy will be to support the negotiation and management the commercial deals for existing and new distribution partners. In addition, the position will be responsible for helping drive overall commercial strategy and new business development initiatives. This position works in close partnership with the legal, account management, product, and marketing teams to drive a coordinated account level go-to-market strategy.

Responsibilities:
• Support and participate in negotiations with key partners, including cable, satellite, telco and digital platforms.
• Create and maintain various contractual analyses and deal summaries across accounts.
• Research, evaluate and provide strategic perspective on new technologies, trends, business models/opportunities.
• Be a strategic & subject matter expert in the digital distribution landscape/marketplace.
• Monitor and analyze industry reports/trends regarding emerging technologies, including the competitive landscape.
• Be ''eyes & ears'' in the marketplace for NBCU in terms of new technologies and digital companies; identify opportunities and risks for NBCU and help develop recommended courses of action to address.
• Establish and manage strong relationships with key partners.
• Establish collaborative cross-functional relationships with Legal, Account Management, Product, Marketing, Technology, and Finance teams to execute partnership requirements and deliver on business objectives.

Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or graduate degree in a related field strongly preferred.
• 3+ years of experience working in business development, strategy, or content distribution.
• High level of proficiency in MS Office applications, PowerPoint, and PowerBI.
