Job Purpose
NBCUniversal is looking for a Data Engineer of Measurement Interoperability within the Measurement Innovation team.

The key objective of the Measurement Interoperability team is to develop systems that support data interoperability between NBCU and its partners, including measurement vendors, advertisers and agency partners. The team will support the data offerings that power the suite of measurement products released to the marketplace through the Audience Insights Hub, NBCU's innovative data clean room.

The Data Engineer in this role will be responsible for developing systems and data that support the products owned by the Measurement Innovation team.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Support the productionalization of the measurement data clean room and its integration with external measurement partners and NBCU clients
• Design, build, and scale data pipelines across a variety of source systems (AWS S3, Snowflake, etc.)
• Demonstrate critical thinking for potential roadblocks; comprehend a bigger picture of the business and effectively communicate these issues to internal team
• Collaborate with Data Science team to integrate machine learning models into the measurement data clean room
• Employ prototyping methodologies to propose and design creative measurement solutions that leverage our toolset of technologies (Snowflake, Databricks, Dataiku, etc.)

Qualifications/Requirements
• BS/BA degree, preferably in computer science, mathematics or related field
• 1-3 years of experience in a data engineering role
• Deep SQL expertise and data analysis skill required
• 3+ years experience building data pipelines with refined skills using one or more scripting languages (e.g., Python, bash, etc.)
• Direct experience implementing ETL/ELT development principles and data warehousing concepts through cloud technologies such as AWS/S3
• Proficiency in relational databases, data warehousing, data integration, data modelling, and data analysis techniques (experience in Snowflake and leveraging its sharing capabilities is a huge plus)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
