Job Description
The Manager, Content Acquisitions role will be responsible for inventory management, tracking deals, communicating to internal stakeholders, and evaluating series & film for Peacock and the NBCU Entertainment Cable Networks. The ideal candidate is an analytical thinker, who is detail-oriented, organized, and able to pivot at a moment's notice. Work closely with the programming, scheduling, marketing, operations, and editorial teams to manage content inventory, and track interest lists
Identify potential acquisitions via synopses, scripts, trailers, trade articles, screeners, and finished product
Evaluate performance of inventory to aid in analysis of future acquisitions and renewals
Prepare decks for presentation by senior executives
Work with IT / Business Intelligence on the development of content planning tools and reporting capabilities
Handle relationships with distributors at independent studios and production companies

Minimum 4-years of experience in acquisitions or scheduling and/or experience in financial analysis, sales planning or research at a major media company
Exceptional proficiency in Excel

Strong PowerPoint Skills

Database management experience required with ability to formulate inventory reports
Demonstrates a passion for television and movie content from all genres
Experience working in the industry with a foundation on how streaming and TV business works is a Plus
Relationships with third party studios and productions companies domestic and international is a plus
Ability and desire to work in fast-paced environment
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and drive them to completion
Excellent communication skills
