NBCUniversal Advertising Platforms & Operations is responsible for the product development, project management, and day-to-day operations of NBCUniversal's full advertising technology suite. From product management to program management, from sales enablement to sales operations, from product marketing to strategic communications, our division services both internal and external customers in support of NBCUniversal's $10B+ annual advertising business. Together, we're building the platform that powers the future of advertising at NBCU.
The Technology Transformation team within Advertising Platforms & Operations (AP&O) oversees strategic projects and programs to support business priorities for NBCU's Advertising & Partnerships organization and manages organizational workflow standards and governance to ensure efficient product delivery. We are currently seeking a Program Manager of Technology Transformation to manage various medium- to large-sized projects dedicated to scaling and unifying our Global and Local businesses. This role requires collaboration with internal stakeholders across NBCU's brands (Entertainment, News, Peacock, and Sports), Advertising & Partnerships, Operations & Technology, Corporate Strategy, and Content Distribution.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Senior Program Manager, Technology Transformation, the person in this role will:
• Lead one or more cross-functional programs, coordinating between internal stakeholders
• Strategize on milestone execution amid numerous competing programs to ensure expectations are managed and contributor capacity is considered
• Oversee requirements gathering efforts throughout developing engagements, keeping the pulse on changing priorities or new objectives
• Own all program artifacts (including but not limited to project plans, roadmaps, risk register, communications plan), and facilitate meetings with detailed agendas and notes
• Manage conflicts, recognize risks, and employ mitigation tactics to ensure successful program execution
• Oversee the successful transition from product launch to ongoing operational support (i.e., transition management back to the business)
• Build and manage stakeholder relationships, communicating consistent updates as needed (bi-weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly) on the active and requested initiatives
• Identify opportunities to share and leverage best practices and processes cross-functionally
• Organize and maintain Ad Platforms & Operations documentation
• Champion the organizational vision of our team, and evangelize our systems and tools to enable consistent and efficient product management

Qualifications/Requirements
• 2 - 5 years of PM or Business Operations experience with a business or PM degree, or 4 - 7 years of PM or Business Operations experience with non-PM/business degree, or equivalent experience
• High tolerance for uncertainty and adapting to change
• Experience in digital media and advertising platforms
• Outstanding organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to execute on larger portfolio projects
• Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and deliver quality results
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, at the correct ''depth''
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Project, Visio, PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and Atlassian tools (Jira)
• Excellent customer service skills

Desired Characteristics
• Attention to detail while reviewing deliverables for completeness, quality, and compliance with established project requirements
• Strong proficiency with Jira and scrum methodologies
• The ability to clearly and concisely articulate complex concepts for a variety of audiences
• Ability to organize meetings, including creating pertinent agendas, managing conversations, and summarizing the results into a set of decisions made and next steps
