Junior IT Analyst

Job Description

Responsibilities
• Act as main point of contact for all corporate inquiries and projects IT
• Attend weekly calls with other IT Leads from around the country
• Work with station departments to coordinate and prioritize projects and troubleshooting efforts
• Independently work on projects, troubleshoot issues, and communicate status to Tech and Station Management
• Work with vendors to help resolve issues and help schedule proper times with vendors for software upgrades that mitigate on-air and user impact.
• Implement, support and evaluate popular applications used by Mac and PC environments
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on hardware, software, and peripherals
• Maintain user accounts, passwords, e-mail accounts, internet connectivity, back-ups, user home directories
• Develop and implement the most efficient and cost-effective solutions to all departments served
• Evaluate current systems, specifications and users for existing business requirement and goals
• Develop, prepare and install computers, software and sever solutions as required
• Work closely with management to prioritize and balance business goals with information system requirement and resources
• Support current wireless environment in newsroom, sales and administration with strong ability to troubleshoot wireless networks
• Troubleshoot and repair file-shares, iPhones, laptops, desktops, etc.
• Build up and support Windows and Mac servers
• Create and distribute instructional one-sheets on new procedures

Qualifications/Requirements

Minimum of 1 year prior Information Technology experience
• Minimum Associates degree in a technology related field
• 3 additional years' work experience in lieu of education
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong attention to detail in high pressure situations with good organizational skills
• Excellent computer and customer service skills including strong skills in both Macintosh and PC environments
• Knowledge of current wireless, cell, android and iPad applications and use
• Self-Motivated/Ability to work without supervision.
