OVERVIEW

The Marketing Director will have responsibility for delivering a comprehensive regional marketing plan across EMEA. This role will work closely with acquisition and retention teams to deliver on subscription and retention targets, whilst having primary responsibility for driving key brand awareness and consideration metrics within the regions D2C Territories.

The Marketing Director will report into the VP Brand and Partnerships and will take the global strategy, working closely with central and remote teams, to translate it into insight led, localised plans by territory.

This is role needs a strong leader who can be the voice of the brand and consumer in the regions, balancing the demands of delivering the D2C marketing plan with the B2B commercial partnerships account management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Execute the regional brand and partnerships marketing strategy, with key responsibilities as follows:

1. Brand
⦁ Responsible for the execution of all tactical and campaign level comms across the region, targeted to drive key awareness and consideration metrics
⦁ Working with the internal central creative team to brief and execute creative assets across the full marketing mix

2. Media planning
⦁ Lead regional media planning working with local media agency teams and central marketing leadership to deliver cohesive media plans that combine local expertise with global learnings and consistency

3. Public Relations & Communications
⦁ Develop and deliver localised BTL campaigns across traditional PR placement, influencers, events and leveraging show talent access
⦁ Work closely with the central PR lead and local agencies to deliver the consumer and trade PR plans across D2C and Commercial partnerships

4. Partnerships & Client Account Management
⦁ Account manage and lead multiple B2B partners in the region across media, tech, and telcos in order to co-create and execute effective marketing activity to drive core consumer metrics
⦁ Provide expertise and guidance on relevant new partnerships to develop

5. Brand partnerships
⦁ Leverage insights and local trends to identify good fit brand partners to reach new audiences, offer something new to our subscribers and enhance brand perception

6. Team management and interdepartmental planning
⦁ Management of two Marketing Managers and Marketing and PR Intern's work and remit to balance and cover the regions workload ensuring output is meeting EMEA objectives
⦁ Ensure clear communication and transparency of career development for all team members whilst building close working relationships and collaboration across central departments, including product, operations, finance, creative and commercial

7. Insight and Consumer centric
⦁ Be the expert and regional champion of the consumer, keeping insight and consumer understanding at the heart of all marketing strategies and decision making

8. Budget Management
⦁ Comprehensive budget management across multiple lines
⦁ Working closely with the VP of Brand and Partnerships to manage local budgets in line with global requirements

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

⦁ Ability and confidence to work independently to represent and drive growth in the region
⦁ Experience in managing a team in high paced dynamic environment
⦁ Proven track record of strategy development and translating to tactical plans
⦁ Experience of working withing an international organisation
⦁ Experience in managing commercial partnerships to drive growth
⦁ Sound financial acumen to manage budgets
⦁ Strong communicator who builds strong external and internal relationships
⦁ Ability to prioritise and juggle multiple projects simultaneously
⦁ Strong digital and social media marketing literacy and an understanding of managing digital brands
⦁ Strong understanding of media planning and execution
⦁ Experienced in managing creative campaigns through to delivery
⦁ Held previous senior B2C brand role, within media, entertainment industry, or digital female brand
⦁ Bachelor's degree or relevant marketing experience desirable
⦁ Highly desirable:
⦁ SVOD/OTT experience highly desirable
⦁ Enjoyment and strong knowledge of reality TV
⦁ Experience of working on brands with a female millennial consumer
