Job Description
Role Summary
The Human Resources Manager is responsible for providing strategic and operational HR leadership, direction, and expertise for the Ad Sales organization. In collaboration with the Director, Human Resources – Ad Sales, this person will provide day to day client support and strategic HR solutions for Ad Sales vertical teams.
Responsibilities
• Lead and leverage HR processes (incl. Staffing, Benefits, Performance Management, Compensation/Reward Management, Learning & Development, Employee Engagement & Communication) for client groups
• Partner/collaborate with leadership team to align and execute HR strategies in support of Ad Sales initiatives
• Manage complex employee relations issues including organizational and structural changes
• Develop and implement appropriate change management plans
• Implement and monitor adherence to HR policies, procedures and practices
• Provide advice, counsel and coaching to employees regarding HR policies and procedures
• Partner with stakeholders across the enterprise, including but not limited to Talent Acquisition, Compensation, and Employment Law
• Serve as project manager to coordinate and oversee programs and initiatives across Ad Sales
• Uncover, assess and propose opportunities improve HR processes
• Supervise HR Coordinator and act as mentor to junior team members
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum 5 years of relevant HR partnering experience including recruiting, performance management, salary planning and organizational development
Desired Characteristics:
• Knowledge and practical application of HR disciplines including U.S employment and labor laws, employee relations, management & leadership development, performance management, organizational design and compensation philosophies and knowledge of OSHA and workplace safety
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent presentation skills
• Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work with minimal guidance or direct supervision
• Demonstrated ability to resolve complex problems with creative solutions
• Process and detail oriented, including strong organization, time management and prioritization skills
• Ability to work independently, strategize and influence at all organizational levels
• Demonstrated ability to understand the clients' business and develop both strategic and tactical solutions to tangible business challenges
• Demonstrated ability to make independent decisions
• Proven ability to manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization
Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
