Responsibilities
Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Human Resources Coordinator to partner with the Corporate HR team to provide support to employees across the Legal function at NBCUniversal. The ideal candidate will be team oriented and customer focused, with a desire to play a critical role in projects and initiatives that align with business objectives.

Responsibilities:

Recruiting & Onboarding
• Prepare job descriptions for open positions, and post open jobs via nbcunicareers.com
• Facilitate the new hire onboarding process including generating offer letters and processing background checks
• Process HRIS transactions in SAP, and complete I-9 verifications for new employees
• Partner with hiring manager to ensure a smooth new hire experience
• Lead recruiting of temporary talent by working with business clients in processing requests for temporary employees
• Assist with the coordination of our internal Talent Mobility programs including posting open opportunities, facilitating movements, and analyze program metrics

HR Processes & Data
• Process HRIS transactions for all employees in Corporate Legal, including but not limited to: personal data changes, promotions, and transfers
• Process and prepare all documentation related to employee exits, submit final payments, and coordinate exit process and asset collection
• Serve as primary user for all HR systems: SAP, BrassRing, etc.
• Run and analyze reports around attrition, performance appraisals, and diversity metrics
• Liaise with business partners including Payroll, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, Compensation and Finance in order to field questions and resolve day-to-day employee issues
• Assist with annual HR initiatives (succession planning, performance management, compensation planning, etc.)
• Keep apprised and up-to-date on new regulations, company policies & procedures
• Attend & participate in training courses pertinent to Human Resources, as required

Administrative
• Create, update and maintain organizational charts as needed
• Create content for, maintain, and update the Legal HR community intranet
• Plan logistics for employee meetings, trainings, etc., including room reservations and technology set-up
• Provide administrative HR support, including preparing presentations, generating monthly and ad hoc reports, sending employee communications and other projects as needed

Qualifications/Requirements
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree required

Eligibility Requirements
• Must be willing to work in Universal City, CA or New York, NY

Desired Characteristics
• 1+ year of HR or related experience in a fast-paced environment
• Intermediate to advanced user of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel (ability to process data, conduct v-lookups, charts, and formulas)
• Experience in data analysis
• Experience with HR information systems (ie. SAP, Brassring) preferred
• Highly resourceful and organized with exceptional follow-through and attention to detail
• Extremely flexible and able to easily shift priorities with a can-do attitude
• Strong written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
