ROLE
We are looking for a HR Director for our growing successful International Studios business based in London. You will be responsible for providing HR leadership, advice, coaching and guidance to all central studios employees and contractors. Delivering a first-class HR service, proactively engaging on all people related activities.
Reporting into the London VP, HR you will be a trusted partner working closely with the Executives and Leadership teams in the business on culture, organisational design, performance and the hiring of both internal and external talent. You will create HR programs which enable each individual organisations growth and strategic plans.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys developing strong partnerships with client groups and who can adapt and flex on a regular basis. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic HR & Planning:
Create and lead a strategic people plan that delivers the business objectives & growth through its most important asset, it's people. Heavily focused on programmes which drive high performance and empowering cultures
Driving the delivery through high engagement and ownership through the leadership team regularly tracking progress and re-aligning where necessary.
Leadership & Culture:
Partner with the UIS leadership team & members of the USG leadership to deliver first class human resources and employee engagement experiences
Own and deliver culture and engagement programmes across the International Studio. Collaborating with the Comms department in aligning messaging to the Studio brand.
Collecting data on the success of the engagement activities and utilising this to drive future initiatives
Utilising the Employee data from HRIS to inform and drive tailored employee experiences. Identifying trends which can inform the People strategy and influence leadership decisions
Leadership of the UIS HR team, including HR Manager and Co-ordinator. Supporting individual engagement, growth & development
Organisational Change:
Working with the leadership team, identify and deliver organisational change programmes across the Studio's, leading on re-organisations, resources allocation. Delivering structures designed to build out and met future growth needs
Resource & budget planning with the SLT, identifying sustainable structures able to deliver against planned growth
Strategically plan and execute the expansion into European language, working in partnership with Global Mobility and internal HR partnerships
DE& I:
Creating programmes which drive accountability and ownership for DEI to all, creating inclusion, awareness and empowering individual voices
Pipeline future talent. Identify and create programmes which attract, develop and engage current and future diverse talent to the Studios
Talent Management:
Driving the talent identification, management and succession planning of talent across the businesses. Collaborating with USG HR, TalentLabs to create opportunities, growth and development of our talent
Employee Relations
Lead person for ER for Director and above, working with the business leaders and supporting all parties to ensure the process is delivered in a timely manner and reaches conclusions for all involved
Partner with HR teams locally across compensation, employment law, Talent acquisitions and
Recruitment & onboarding
Assist in the hiring of all talent VP & Directors into the business, working in partnership with TA
Manage the delivery of all administration, process & contracts through the HR team, ensuring accuracy and fast execution to create a positive candidate experience
Lead the onboarding experience of all new hires
Actively participate in the creation, design and execution of USG HR programmes, providing an International input into design. Executing plans across UIS and creating engagement by the business
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
⦁ You will be a developing HR Director with experience of building trusted relationships with Executives
⦁ You will demonstrate leadership competence in driving culture change, coaching and development
⦁ You will have experience of organisational design and execution of change
⦁ You will have experience in managing HR within a fast-paced dynamic & creative environment
⦁ You will have exceptional employment law knowledge and experience of managing complex change
⦁ You will have experience in creating and executing HR strategies along with tactical priorities
⦁ You must be able work independently in a fast-paced creative environment and meet tight deadlines
⦁ You will be able to engage, influence and develop strong relationships within a creative production environment
⦁
