Job Description
Responsibilities

NBCUniversal is seeking an HR Generalist responsible for performing a broad range of HR and operational support for a fun and fast-paced client base within the Universal Studio Group team. This position interfaces with a number of business partners and provides broad HR operational support to a production client base. This role is the first point of contact and has a unique opportunity to shape the employee experience.

Responsibilities:
• Provide HR operational support for all Human Resources clients, including: recruitment, on-boarding, off-boarding, employee relations issues, LOA processes, compensation analysis
• Partner with HR leadership to support clients with employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies and practices
• Create and post job descriptions for open positions via nbcunicareers.com
• Work closely with Talent Acquisition team to successfully onboard new hires
• Maintain organizational structure in SAP, processing organizational changes as needed, and updating org charts
• Oversee LOA processes; processing transactions and ensuring LOA pay is accurate as well as educating employees on LOA processes and procedures
• Liaise with various HR specialties and partners, including Benefits and Payroll, to manage and resolve day to day employee issues
• Respond to client's HR questions including, but not limited to benefits, payroll, vacation or redirect employees to appropriate contacts in a timely manner
• Mentor and provide guidance to all clients, related to career development
• Facilitate production leadership kick start training
• Support with ad hoc team projects as needed

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree required
• At least 2 years working within the HR function

• High sense of urgency and customer service
• Excellent written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
• Highly resourceful and organized with exceptional follow-through and attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability to creatively solve problems
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word
• Experience with HR information systems (ie. SAP)
