Responsibilities

Content Distribution is a division of NBCUniversal that drives the North American distribution of the company's multi-billion-dollar television portfolio to cable, satellite and telco providers, as well as live streaming services, and other digital platforms. A key revenue-generator, the division oversees the distribution of NBC and Telemundo owned stations, all NBCUniversal's cable entertainment, news and sports networks, and the Olympics. The group also leads the content strategy and development for offerings that include video-on-demand (VOD) and TV Everywhere (TVE).

Responsibilities:
• Lead the ideation, pitching, and execution of strategic marketing campaigns that drive partner goals and network ratings, including product stunts, experiential marketing events, talent appearances, local promotions, partner access to network events
• Manage a coordinator who will serve as a day-to-day contact for News (NBC News, MSNBC, CNBC) and Hispanic (Telemundo, Universo) networks' marketing teams; together work to build and maintain relationships at all levels
• Oversee network approvals for marketing promotional requests and partner campaigns
• Oversee recaps and merchandising emails with marketing support from partners to serve as resource for networks
• Develop and deliver presentations to internal stakeholders, including partnership recaps
• Oversee submitting creative briefs for print, on-air and digital assets for News and Hispanic networks
• Collaborate with multiple internal teams to generate awareness and support for key tentpole initiatives (i.e. Elections, FIFA World Cup)
• Support key portfolio renewals by contributing to high-impact activation campaigns
• Ensure department website is updated with all upcoming programming priorities
• Responsible for budget of assigned brands and ensuring spending is prioritized and communicated to finance managers

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree with 7+ years marketing experience; prior people management skills a plus
• Bilingual (English/Spanish speaking)
• Brand experience within media and entertainment industry
• Familiarity with TV landscape including cable, satellite and telco industries.

• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), exhibiting confidence in presentations
• Highly organized, detail oriented and resourceful

• Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-moving environment
• Brings a can-do attitude and can handle all types of personalities
• Passion for television and pop culture (Hispanic and News a plus)
• Consistent team player who is willing to pitch in on last minute, high priority projects as needed

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

Salary Range: $125,000 - $160,000; bonus eligible
