Job Overview
Catalyst Agency is seeking a Director of Content APAC to lead the development, execution and delivery of cross-platform commercial content solutions for its Asia Pacific operations.
This position will develop and lead teams of both internal and external creatives including designers, developers, editors, videographers, writers and producers. The candidate must have outstanding multiplatform brand storytelling experience and proven capabilities in leading and managing regionally-based assets to deliver compelling and award-winning content experiences.
Impressive levels of organization, attention to detail, and time management are fundamental, as well as the ability to find efficiencies in, and evolve, processes while simultaneously working across multiple fast paced projects. Excellent presentation skills, creative flare and relationship/stakeholder management are also key.

Key Responsibilities
• Drive the creative output, vision and evolution of Catalyst's APAC operations.
• Day-to-day management of the APAC Catalyst Agency group, managing staff and their development, process, prioritization and operations to ensure projects are delivered effectively, within timelines, on budget, exhibiting creative excellence.
• Lead creative across the marketplace, signing off each stage of production and ensuring creative assets are fully compliant and delivered to the highest standards.
• Contribute to APAC creative and brand strategy activities through development of multiplatform creative ideas and concepts in concert with front-line sales and the brand strategy team. Work in tandem with the brand strategy team to ensure execution is fully in line with the content strategy.
• Maintain and where necessary improve established processes and protocols to ensure smooth running of department.
• Source and maintain strong relationships with vendors and freelancers across the market.
• Strong multiplatform production background, with ability to oversee editorial, sound design, and motion graphics and other deliverables and able to provide creative direction during filming shoots and content assembly.
• Excellent understanding of the digital ecosystem, ensuring creative is fully optimized for digital platforms and audience segments, and provides best UX available.
• Drive interdepartmental collaboration and share best practices learnings and case studies.
• Present creative ideas & concepts concisely and effectively during pitches internally and externally.
• Provide guidance and creative council for trade marketing deliverables and aid in award entry submissions.

Qualifications/Requirements

Skills & Experience:
- Outstanding written, verbal and visual communication skills.
- Excellent, business level English language skills as priority, other language capabilities greatly valued.
- Expertise in video and digital content development, including branded entertainment and native advertising. A strong portfolio and history of creative content campaigns and projects.
- Strong understanding of the digital marketing publisher landscape, with a track record of leading strategic content marketing solutions.
- A collaborative, 'can do' approach that encourages co-operation between internal departments and helps to enhance NBCU's client relationships.
- Creativity and a passion for innovative problem solving.
- An ability to multi-task and thrive in a high-pressured environment; meet deadlines and effectively prioritise projects.
- Extensive network of regional vendors and production resources.
- A keen interest in evolving storytelling techniques and technologies.

Requirements
- University degree and media qualification preferred
- Willingness to travel as required and to work flexible hours when necessary
