Responsibilities
The Director of Digital Productions oversees the overall digital editorial and sales strategy, including new video content & franchises, promotional strategies, distribution methods, Pre/Post production supervision, omnichannel innovation such as social TV stunts and interactivity, and a comprehensive plan of proactive sales opportunities for Telemundo's Digital Realities programming.
Job Duties
• Analyze and present metrics & content trends to Senior Management
• Oversee existing video content to ensure it is high quality and promoted in a targeted, sophisticated manner using digital tools such as social media and SEO, as well as cross-promotion and linear distribution
• Develop a Digital Editorial and Social distribution Strategy to maximize creation and curation of Realities video content – Long and short form
• Oversee daily pre/postproduction of Digital Video programming and Franchise creation – Livestreams and VOD
• Develop and execute Video programming strategies to maximize viewership, engagement, and revenue generation
• Manage communication with internal teams to create and amplify video asset creation, distribution, and promotion
• Responsible for the on-going relationship with Legal teams, Music Affairs and Finance to ensure all content creation and publishing strategies are contractually permitted.
• Review all video content to make sure that final product is timely and accurate, as well as platform appropriate
• Work with linear, Omnichannel programming and Sales teams to strategically aligned Network Priorities and maximize revenue generation
• Develop and keep track of production budgets for all projects working closely with Production Services
• Analyze and report metrics and content performance to Digital Leadership
• Provide market insights and suggest innovative tools to enhance linear and omnichannel programming
• Supervise all digital activations including Voting, polling, social TV and interactivity
• Responsible for keeping a detailed programming calendar.
• Pitch and Keep track of all Sales opportunities out to market.
• Work closely with Product and Creative teams on all website and app launches, including graphics management, Telemundo.com presence, while leveraging internal promotional tools
• Supervise Digital Sales activations inclusive of custom video production, livestreams, custom initiatives, brand presence, social stunts, interactivity, etc.
• Manage a team of video producers, editors, and vendors
Qualifications/Requirements
• Minimum 7 years of experience in digital production at a television network, network affiliate, major film studio, production company or advertising agency
• Previous supervisory/leadership experience
• Thorough understanding of TV production in Latin American and US Hispanic markets
• Bachelor's degree with a focus in Film/TV Production and/or equivalent level of education
• Must be fully bilingual in English and Spanish

• Must be willing to work in Miami, FL
• Willingness to travel and work overtime, and on weekends with short notice
• Must be ''on call'' 24 hours a day / 7 days a week
